The food and bakery are tasty, the place is nice. The management was very kind and went out of their way to help us find a cake.... My wrap had one hair and one eyelash so that?s that, the restroom was pretty dirty too, unfortunately. I visited this coffee shop multiple times hoping that the next time I go will be better. Each time I bought a latte, the... espresso tasted burnt and over-extracted. Additionally, I have tried their regular hot drip coffee as well and it was belowaverage. I expected better for the prices and reviews. Read more

This place is amazing! Wonderful breakfast wraps, exquisite pastries and the coffee?.. wow! You can tell the cafe is family... owned and run. There is a lot of love in this cafe and it just made me feel great to be there. I am not from Stamford and I amso happy to have found you! This place is a must try! Their prices are also so reasonable! I can?t say enough wonderful thingsabout this cafe. Our party decided to stop by almost every day while in town. Nothing compares to this Coffee Shop! I travel for work and needed a place to post up for a few hours between appointments. Mountain Dog Cafe did not disappoint! They... have guest WiFi that worked for my emails and work programs. My latte was the strong pick-me-up I needed to get through the restof my day and I HIGHLY recommend the cinnamon rolls - delicious! Clean shop with friendly staff, the perfect local place for aquick bite or to get some work done. Sadly, no dogs were present during my visit, so I had to "bring" my own :) Read more
