One of the best Chinese shots in Stamford. Their fried rice is amazing. Not oily like many other places.
So let me just start by saying that I have ordered from this place numerous of times since I moved to Stamford a few months ago... never had a issue until tonight. My order arrived to me and once I went open my food a ROACH came out of the container !!!! Thisis beyond disgusting. So I call the restaurant I was given to a a manger who was SO nonchalant about it and said she would talkto the chef ! I couldn?t believe it and said to give the food back to the driver when he returned. When the driver returns heasks me where was the original plastic bag and went back and forth about the plastic bag the ROACH made it?s way from. I willNEVER order from here again !!! Stay away !! If I could less than 1 star I would. Ordered thru seamless today with one of their drivers. They called me saying they were in... the complex and just hung up and never delivered. Driver and the restaurant will not answer phone now. Read more
July 2021 - Be Warned ?? Not For Those With Allergies. I ordered for pick up a large order. I have one peanut allergy eater.... I've ordered many times at Chinese take outs before. I know to order this specific dish, Beef Ho Fun/Chow Fun, a certain way sothere are no mistakes in the making of it. The allergy eater cannot have the actual peanut(the nut meat part itself), but ifit's cooked in a facility that's shared with peanuts, it's fine. I specifically ordered the Beef And Noodles ONLY. NOTHING else,please. She assured me with a definite "yes" answer. We received the order. Took it home and the 1st bite into the Beef Ho Fun,allergy flares up! Tongue started to itch, stomach cramps, feeling swollen. It was Beef Ho Fun and nothing else. On inspection,I find tiny pieces of peanuts in the Beef Ho Fun. Why??? I called & they said they didn't put any peanuts in the dish? Really?Because I can see them and pick them out. All other and every Asian restaurant we've gone to and ordered Beef Ho Fun/Chow Funnever had any peanuts in them. Just as I placed the order of "Just Beef & Noodles." No one puts peanuts in Ho/Chow Fun Noodledish. I'd be careful with this place. They tell you they didn't add an ingredient in the dish, but they do it and how would youknow, unless you were allergic to it. By the time you eat the dish, it's too late then. I always order food from Hong Kong no where else. I?m usually disappointed they're not open on Tuesdays. They serve you large... portions for an affordable price. Employees are always so kind. Read more
