I have visisted Brasitas in Stamford many times over the years when visiting. Just recenntly the first time since the pandemic.... Great to visit again and great food. Good decor indoor. Great menu with good choices. Great service. In a residential area. Can find parking around the block. As for... food, it's decent. The chicken with the coconut curry was a bit too salty when we had it. The fish tacos were not that great.Still recommend visiting for a decent meal. Read more
The food is absolutely delicious. The drinks and service are solid. I always get the Costillas de Res (braised boneless short... ribs over risotto). Perfectly done every time. I love their complimentary plantain chips and pico de gallo salsa. The only downside is that the appetizers then to be small. They?re delicious but not worth the cost in my opinion though my husband loves thechurrasco pinchos and the arepas de pollo are to die for. Pro tip: Go to the Stamford location. The Norwalk location has thesame menus but the quality is significantly below the bar. Read more

Extraordinary, excellent food, helpful staff, and brilliant service. the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is both delicious... and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious and loved everything. From complimentary plantainchips and salsa to Tres leches cake for dessert, everything tasted exquisite. My top recommendations would be Pollo curryCaribeno , Arroz con Pollo and Camarones al Ajillo. Burrito de Vegetales is great choice for vegetarians or vegans. Based on the number of positive reviews, we decided to stop by for lunch and were super pleased that we did. Although we were... only one of two couples eating lunch on this Monday afternoon at Brasitas, we were delighted with the authentic and quitedelicious Latin American Cuisine. To get started, our server dropped off a bowl of Plantain slices that were crispy and notoily with a tasty Pico de Gallo Salsa. I ordered the El Cubano Wrap (Roasted Pork, Swiss Cheese, Pickles, Mustard, MojoMayonnaise, Yucca Cakes) which was served hot and super delicious. The Yucca cake 1-inch squares were crispy on the outside andsmooth and creamy on the inside - very tasty indeed! The El Cubano wrap was filled with tasty pieces of shredded porksurrounded by a piece of tasty ham and swiss cheese melted throughout. My wife was equally pleased with her Empanadas (Beef andChicken with Creamy Guajillo Pepper Sauce). Not too heavy, served hot and delicious. Service was excellent and very friendly! My wife and I enjoyed the curry chicken and the churrasco. A lot of food on both plates. Flan for desert was good as well.... Pretty cool little outdoor seating area with some tropical looking plants. Service was a bit lacking - our original server wasnice, but would rarely come back out to the table. Towards the end we had to request any server available to come give us ourcheck since he never came back. A different server finally came over and dropped our check off without saying a word which was abit strange. Good food but the service that night could use some work. Read more
