Very disappointed to say the least. I went on their opening day so there were a few bumps with food and service. That's... understandable. The upsetting part was there were ants on the dinning room floor all over a piece of food. They were alsoclimbing up the side of the booth. I pointed it out to the owner, 20 minutes later it was still there and no one did anythingabout. No one seemed to care. The picture is my 18" classic Italian and it was phenomenal. I added oil and vinegar and it was the perfect amount. Didn't make... the sub soggy at all. Also ordered a pastrami sub for my father who is from New York and he said it was one of the best he everhad. Their salads are amazing as well, I would have taken a picture but I dug into it too quick. Very heavy on toppings, def nota salad that's all lettuce. I used to order Wawa subs all the time but they havnt been very good for a while, then switched tofirehouse subs.this takes the cake around the Stafford area. Today was their opening day so I decided to stop in for lunch. All I can say is for claiming to be "Voted Greatest Sandwich in... America" I was very underwhelmed. I first walked in and tried to order the Chicken Chipotle Crunch but was told that wasn'tavailable due to not getting the chipotle sauce on the truck. I know it's not their fault but you shouldn't open on your firstday not having the ingredients you need. After being told that I couldn't order the initial sandwich that I wanted, I orderedthe Homemade Turkey sandwich and the Classic Meatball. The turkey sandwich was nothing to write home about. It's just a simpleTurkey sandwich but instead of deli Turkey it's made with real roasted turkey. The meatball sub was a different story. It lookedvisually unappetizing. The sauce had very little flavor and the meatballs were under seasoned. Both of the breads on thesandwiches tasted cheap. They tasted like bread I could get at my local Walmart on the shelf. I love Capriotti's and I'm so happy we have one in Stafford. The entire crew were welcoming when I walked in. Everyone was... keeping busy. If they weren't preparing food, they were cleaning and restocking. The food was ready on time and delicious. Read more
I visited with a friend recently, the staff were friendly and the subs were delicious! I highly recommend the Italian Sausage!
