Typical Baskin-Robbins. Went there by myself after work. Place was still busy despite the pouring rain. It did take the server a... while to notice me. Then she proceeded to take the order of the person behind me like I was invisible or something. But otherthan that the ice cream was great as usual. Why on earth do they think it is ok to not stuff ice cream down into the cake cone? If I wanted a hollow, empty cake cone I... would just order a scoop in a bowl. You go to any ice cream place and they put ice cream in the bottom of the cake cone beforeputting the scoop on top. It's the glue that holds the ice cream on and it's the best part about getting a cake cone, but no,this place just leaves you with a dry empty cone. So cheap. Read more
Both times I have taken my family here there have been weird experiences with the staff. The first time the lady behind the... counter complained about having to be at the store early that day and then told us we ABSOLUTELY had to give them a good reviewon their survey or they'd all be fired. Tonight we went and could barely get our order in without after every part hearing "isthat it" and just being pushed when there was no line or it being busy. They just shoved us through and we could barely get ourorders out without the staff trying to get it over with, it wasnt anything crazy, just five people ordering two scoops of icecream. It was my moms birthday and as soon as we went inside the atmosphere dropped. It was around 9pm and the workers looked lethargic... and annoyed. They also seemed impatient when we were trying to pick out our flavors. When my mom told the cashier it was herbirthday she didn't believe her at first and had her pull out her drivers license. Another woman came up and rudely took controland shot my mom down when she wasn't aware of the coupon needed to get the free birthday ice cream. Overall we didn't have agood experience, and the ice cream tasted very freezer burned, my mom threw it out. Needless to say she didn't have a very goodbirthday. I suggest buying some Ben and Jerrys or going to sweet frog, where they actually respect their costumers. And to thinkI wanted a job here. Read more
I went into here around 8pm with my mom to get ice cream for my sister, her, and I. I was planning to get regular chocolate for... me, world class chocolate for my sister, and chocolate chip for my mom. Well, they were entirely out of almost all the favors.They only had a few left, the kinds that no one really ever gets. Well, they had a quart of world class chocolate in the freezerso we got that for my sister and asked for a discount due to the inconvenience. Well, an African American woman who had a lipring laughed at my mother and I and repeated that we weren't going to receive a discount. As my mother proceeded to purchase mysisters ice cream, the manager refused to give us a discount. So my mother asked for the owner since the man at the register wasthe store manager. He refused to give us any information in allowing us to contact higher management to sort out this issue. Forone, I work at Food Lion and we would not have handled this issue in such a horrible manner. It's rude and unnecessary to laughand mock customers while working. Read more
