Pretty upset with this visit that will likely be my last. Capt Benny has Been our family spot for over 17 years, we drive 35 min... one way to get there. My 4 year old chose to have his bday dinner here, only to have a server tell me that the manager says wecan?t sing happy birthday and eat a cupcake we brought from home for him. Pretty disappointed in the sequence of events. Picksomewhere else to celebrate your bday if you want more than the 2 desserts they offer. Additionally. The manager stands andwatches the guest needing things (watched my whole family eat a calamari app on napkins cause she wouldn?t bring us plates)while the lone waitress runs around trying serve all the people. There really wasn't anything going on so that must be a register OK service also a 4 star food was 3 Star. They are definitely... a little skimpy on their French Fries. Also way way over Priced for the quality of food. If in going to spend 18 for catfishand shrimp ill go to papadeaux next time or save 8 buck and go to manbos. Read more
