Horrible experience. Should have known when we walked in. Wanted to sit outside but had a sign saying to go inside for patio... seating. Walked in and stood for a minute before a waiter rudely said ?seat yourself.? Didn?t give us a chance to ask aboutpatio seating. We sat down at a booth and when someone finally came over we asked about patio seating. Made us feel incrediblydumb for asking and told us to just go outside and sit. When our waitresses showed up we ordered our drinks and food at the sametime. She repeatedly asked what we said cause she just couldn?t get it right. After about 5 minutes of waiting our drinksarrived and she asked if we were ready to order??? What? Excuse me? We literally watched her enter it on her little tablet. Thenproceeded to ask if we ordered with her. Should?ve left then. I ordered another beer and never got it. About an hour later shecame over and asked if we needed anything. I asked about my beer and our food. She told us she was going to check. When she cameback she said she forgot to put our food in?how? We watched her put it in. We also watched her take shots with the table next tous. The entire hour we were waiting for our food she never would make eye contact with us to get her attention to ask. Don?trecommend. Read more
They're a half mile from the zoo but their food picked the flavor up from the penguin exhibit. And when paying you get the... uncomfortable pleasure of your waiter standing above you while you get to choose between 20%, 25%, & 30% tip. Redeeming aspectsare their cold brew and patio area. Read more
I was expecting a little more here but still a cool place that?s been around since 1842. I gotta respect the history here. So ... with that said, a great selection of whiskeys and in particular, Irish whiskeys!! Sadly the wings were kind of soggy and theydon?t have bleu cheese. I?d definitely come back for the whiskey but they need to work on their food quality. Read more

Great little pub in a great location within walking distance from the St. Louis Zoo. Do not miss the fried chicken menu entree!... The staff is really accommodating and helpful walking us through our choices. Main room was warm and could of used some airconditioning. Otherwise, Just go, and enjoy! Read more

Phenomenal food, great service. Seriously, every staff member was helpful, courteous, and personable. I love cozy places, and... this is it. Perhaps best chicken sandwich you'll ever have. It has an authentic charm with history that is hard to comeby. Thanks Pat Connelly! Read more
