A cool brisk morning, and a touch of mist engulfed our chilled bodies as we briskly sped up to get to the front door and enter.... A flower truck just outside that instantly warm your heart. As you enter a warm and friendly welcome, and a plethora of smellsthat just wrap themselves around ya! Seating is proportional and the service is amaaazing! Attentive and courteous. Best Gooey Butter Cake in St.Louis, from Orginal flavor to Chocolate Chip, Lemon Curd, Triple Berry and more. Homemade Carrot... Cake, Cheesecakes. Brownies, Cookies, Giant Coconut covered in Chocolate Macrons. This place is one of the best bakeries &restaurants in our lovely city if you need brunch, lunch or dinner don't forget dessert. Another stop at my favoritebakery. This time bought a few different desserts, Cherry Gooey Butter cake and old family recipe Carrot Cake along with TurtleBrownies. Update when I taste them. Read more
I had the cold brew cocktail and a savory croissant. Everything was delicious. It was our first time there. We sat on the... patio. Our waitress Nikki was very friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about all the food and beverages. Which was a hugehelp in us making our selections. I even bought dessert to go because I couldn't resist not trying dessert. Which is somethingthey are known for! I definitely plan on going back. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Russell's about two months ago. Russell's has always been a special place for our... family and we were so excited to have our wedding here! While you may know Russell's for their amazing food/drinks (which theyare amazing!!!!!), the restaurant is stunning and each and every staff member went above and beyond to make our day special!I've never been to a wedding where guests are asking for to-go boxes because the food is just THAT GOOD. We are so grateful forRussell's and their amazing staff. If you've never thought of holding your special event here, think again! We would recommendthis place over and over. Read more
We?d been to the Fenton location a few times for baked goods, but hadn?t had lunch or dinner from either Russell?s location. Fun... vibe on the inside. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive - mega quick with refills and very helpful withsuggestions. My wife opted for the espresso brunch cocktail (which includes rum and cream). She liked it very much. The icedtea is fresh too. My wife ordered the flatbread breakfast pizza and was very pleased with her choice. My sunrise sourdoughbreakfast sandwich was overflowing with bacon and eggs - super tasty! I opted for the home fries and was not disappointed. Lots of options to choose from: cookies, gooey butter bars, a few different types of cheesecakes, muffins, brownies, coffee,... etc. You can tell they make everything from scratch. I tried the cheesecake and it was pretty good! Light and fluffy, and therich caramel sauce on top was the best part. ???????? A little small inside, but they have outdoor seating which is nice. Great for brunch! They also have a great selection of bakery treats and cakes. We ordered the Cinnamon roll to share, the three... of us could not finish it, it was huge!
