First time here and there is something about this red sauce that does it for me! It's so good. The service is great too I sat at... the bar during lunch and the manager or owner she was so kind and accommodating immediately and the bartender was extremely niceas well and makes great drinks! My only complaint and I'm still giving 5 stars because of everything else is that the chickenwas overcooked. That is all. I'll be coming back forsure. That red sauce is amazing Read more
A new favorite restaurant! Pietro?s has a large menu with something for everyone. Lots and lots of options from pasta to meat... and seafood dishes. Bread is at the table. The spinach bell appetizer is very good. All of our pasta dishes were phenomenal. Theservice was excellent and the restaurant has a very nice interior. Can?t wait to go again! Read more
I went for a lovely birthday lunch. Everything about this place is five stars. The food, the selection, the cleanliness, the... service. These folks know what they're doing and they're good at it. Very upscale but reasonably priced. I would definitelyrecommend this place for group meals that are celebrations. Read more
Disappointed in this local landmark. Outdated decor and a restaurant in need of a renovation. House salad was mostly cheese and... iceberg and pasta was bland with sauce that tasted canned. Bar was dead empty and crowd was on the older side. Likely won?t comeback but now I know! Read more

I ordered mostaccioli with salsiccia, which comes with a small salad. House dressing. The house dressing is available in some of... the area grocery stores. It's that good. The dish I ordered isn't on the menu, but they've served it for the 47 years I've eatenthere. They serve the Italian bread and olive oil and parmesan cheese with any meal. Lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't crowded and we got a table for 4 as soon as we arrived. I had the Chicken Pietro with side... salad and "pink" pasta. The salad was simple and delicious. Lettuce, provel cheese and house dressing. The side of pennepasta was very good, I choose "pink" half red sauce and half white sauce. The chicken though was incredible. It was so tenderand juicy. I can't say enough good things about it. This was our first visit to Pietro's, but it just can't be our last. StLouis is home to so many great Italian restaurants that it can be hard to choose. We made a really good random choice when wedecided to try Pietro's. Give them a try, I can't imagine you having anything but a great meal. Read more
It is refreshing to go a restaurant on a Thursday night at 6pm and see a healthy crowd dining but still be able to get a table... for 7 people as a walking. I haven't been to Pietro's for years but quality and taste of the food remains exceptional. We alsoreceived some of the best service from a friendly waitor that made us feel like family. To top it off 3 of ate more food than weshould have and took half home for $75 including a generous tip. We need to add this to our regular lineup. Read more
