The Baristas were unduly rude. The coffee costs twice as much as other cafés and tastes bitter. I am never going back to Park... Avenue Coffee. Read more

VERY RUDE Servers. Impolite to me for no discernable reason. Today I asked for a cup of ice for my overpriced 16 ounce coffee... and was ignored repeatedly. So many of the customers are from the surrounding few blocks, which has been recently gentrified.St. Louis needs fewer such establishments overcharging for coffee. They have very expensive pastries and scones andmuffins. Update: This morning I walked down to Park Avenue Coffee to get a medium size cup of coffee. While I was chatting withother customers, the very RUDE lady barista handed me a 16 ounce and said, take it to go. We don't want you coming in hereagain. I could have kicked the plate glass out of the door for the treatment and abuse I received. Read more

I am definitely a new fan! They had multiple sugar-free syrups, the employees were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I... loved the atmosphere. I had a very good sugar-free hazelnut latte. Successfully resisted the gooey butter cake, but I did letmyself enjoy the smells! Their WiFi was open and didn't require some secret password. Coffee was delicious, no bitternesswhatsoever. Overall, very underwhelmed. Two stars only because the butter cake was decent. I would recommend any other coffee shop over... this, even a chain like Starbucks. The service was subpar, to say the least. The worst part was the state of the restroom. Thegrout was disgusting, and has obviously never been cleaned. Toilet was nasty, sink was gross, and the trash can wasoverflowing. Big yikes! Find elsewhere to go Read more

Rating: 4.3 Stars I enjoy Park Avenue Coffee. My favor coffee that they offer is the Grog, and I get it with oat milk. This is... a fantastic combination, and I recommend it. I have also had the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffee with oat milk. This is another goodflavor. Their coffee definitely beats Starbucks. As for their famed gooey butter cakes, I will say that they are solid! As agooey butter cake and baked goods lover, I have certainly had better gooey butter cakes. The slices are a little thin for me,but that is my only true complaint. I prefer the various Schucks Bakery gooey butter cake flavors. I have had the Mom'sTraditional Gooey Butter Cake, and I had the Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake for my birthday yesterday. I like red velvet, and Iactually had a generous serving of red velvet cake from Schnucks at my birthday party at lunch as well. What a wonderfullyunhealth day full of red velvet flavor! The Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake slice had a nice sweetness, and the home-made creamcheese icing complemented it nicely. This ice had a nice sweetness. I will continue to compare cream cheese icings to the badcream cheese icing that I had at Crumbl Cookies on their Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cookie, which was literally just plain, unsweetened cream cheese. Moreover, the Ghirardelli chocolate gooey butter crust was not overwhelming. Finally, I have hadtheir Cranberry Orange Muffin, which is also tasty. Read more
