Had such a wonderful dinner tonight! Had the Walleye dinner special which was phenomenal! We finished our meal with the tiramisu... and kahlua cream pie which was amazing. The food tasted homemade and authentic Italian. Our waitress was very attentive and thehost was polite. Read more

Very good food, very good atmosphere, and great service from some great staff. Food was amazing and did not take long at all. A... little pricey but there is a reason and it is worth it. Amazing food. Highly recommend if you are in the area! Read more

Not impressed at all. The side salad contained mostly hard white bits of iceberg lettuce. It didn't seem especially fresh... either. The linguini and meatballs was not worth $19 (I only ordered this dish because everything else on the menu was WAYoverpriced). Meatballs were okay, but the pasta was overcooked and the red sauce literally tasted like cheap sauce from a jar. That's a mortal sin for an Italian restaurant. Smallish portions for the price paid as well. All of this baffles me because itdoesn't take a miracle to improve quality. Start with fresh baked Italian bread. Use a better quality lettuce than choppediceberg! Marinara sauce should only be made with San Marzano tomatoes, basil, onion, garlic, olive oil and salt. It should nottaste like Prego. On the plus side staff were friendly and professional. Read more

Excellent Italian food. The fried ravioli are seats winning for a reason. You must try when you go. The small salad is a perfect... addition to your meal. The linguine Lombardo it's easily enough for two. The homemade sausage have a delicious flavor. Fordessert the bread pudding and cannoli are tasty choices. Read more

7 month update: I visited again today. My last visit was awesome and my only complaint was that my lasagna wasn't blisteringly... hot when it arrived. I hoped today's visit would rectify that and I would upgrade this to a 5-star review. Unfortunately thatisn't the case. I don't know if today was the anomaly or if my last visit was the exception, but everything was just a littleless amazing. My salad had way less cheese (I didn't request anything special during either visit). My bread oil didn't get anycheese like it did last time (see photos). My lasagna? Well I mentioned my preference for hot lasagna and explained that lasttime it was warm, but just. Today? Same story. The plate was cold and I assume that's the culprit. Additionally, the lasagna wassweet today. Like seriously sweet. It wasn't gross, but had it been sweet last time I wouldn't have tried it a second timebecause it's definitely not my thing. I'm not going to take away a star because the service was good, and none of the food wasbad. I just wish I had gone with the special because dinner wasn't what I had hoped it would be. Original review: Best sidesalad I've had in a long time. The bread was warm and fresh. The lasagna was a huge portion and well balanced, not dry or overlysaucy. Great meal. Read more
