Reviews for Kalbi Taco Shack in St. Louis, MO
My first time at City Foundry Food Hall, and I was pleasantly surprised! I got the beef spare rib tacos and a watermelon boba
Got two tacos from here on the food hall tour. The tacos were good but nothing too crazy. I think it was because it tasted only... like the seasoned meats on the shell. I recommend the sweet and sour chicken taco and would say to skip the teriyaki chickentaco. The tacos need a topping of some sort. Read more
Extremely overrated and I was quite surprised to hear how highly rated this place was. The food has overwhelmingly small... portions and the meat to rice ratios in the rice bowls is insultingly small. Moreover, while the drinks taste fine, the Boba inthe drinks is not chewy at all, and tastes like it came out of a can. Disappointed to say the least and this place is not cheapeither. Read more
Outstanding asianfusion tacos! Absolutely packed with flavor. They are a little juicy, so hold them over your plate; but this... place is probably my fave at the Foundry. Read more
I love Kalbi Taco Shack so much that I almost always find myself ordering from there whenever I'm at the City Foundry. I really... like their take on Asian fusion food and they've done an exception job with the marinades they use for their various meatfillings. My go to is their tofu burrito. Read more
Neat concept for Asian Mexican fusion. I tried the sweet and tangy jackfruit burrito. I liked how the burrito was packaged (you... could actually bite into it without it falling apart) but the sauce or flavoring was just okay. I wouldn't get it again. But I'ddefinitely try more menu items. The restaurant also had a cool dragon mural. Read more
Always wanted to try this place and I am glad I did! Not sure if they opened up or just moved, but I?m glad to see them in the... City Foundry food hall. They were only serving tacos when I went and some sides, but they were delicious. We got the sweet andspicy pork, but it was heavily leaning toward the sweet. However the Asian salad / vegetable on top really add a nice flavor tothe overall taco. I think it?s better than Seoul Taco and would love to try their place again. The taco prices were a bitpricey ..$4.5 for one with two taco minimum and I think the beef was 11$? For two. Read more
I visited a friend in STL from Chicago, and I dream of this place. I've tried to schedule to visit my friend so that i have a... better reason to take a six hour trip other than "I wanted Kalbi Taco Shack." Worth the drive, especially if it's less than 6hours ;) Read more
