First time there and was not impressed at all. My salad was decent but had hardly any chicken on it. Me and some of my family popped in for some lunch. Every thing was good. The wife got there fish and chips. It was Golden brown... crust. My daughter got there kids chicken strips and fries. I got the Parmesan wings and waffle fries. It was all good. My wifegot a order of the park wings for self to take to work the next day. Read more
Not that great, but what Hooters is? Food is mediocre at best. Their food is just bar food. Their wings are so so, Their... sandwiches could use some work. Went to Hooters for lunch on Father's Day with Rob Diesel and a very hungry/pregnant Emily and it wasn't bad... then again, it... wasn't $195.00 good for 3 1/2 people... I had the nachos and immediately I was overwhelmed by the flavors of canned chili, soggyjalapenos and a flavorless cheese sauce. Very disappointing. Rob Diesel ordered me a double Lemonade and Vodka and I honestlydon't think that they poured any vodka in the drink - trust me, I know my vodka and if it was on point I would have probablyenjoyed the nachos simply because vodka makes every meal that much better... Emily had shrimps and wings and she seemed to enjoythem... Rob Diesel had a combination of different wings and said the hot wings were good but the others were not worth themoney. That's not a good sign because Rob is a noted wing expert/connoisseur and his reviews carry a lot of weight when it comesto wings. NOTE: Rob gave his bacon and celery infused Bloody Mary a 4.5 score and said that Hooters South County NAILED it interms of alcohol to tomato ratio and the addition of crispy bacon, celery, hot sauce and seasoning salt really makes theirBloody Mary an amazing addition to the hot wings. The staff... Now, I like to look at beautiful women as much as the next guy.With that said, I must emphasize WOMEN! The young ladies on duty all appeared to be under the legal age and that doesn't doanything for me. If you're going to have females running around with shorts riding up in their booties and padded push up brasmake sure that you have a VARIETY! Mix in a few Latinas, some Sisters, a fiery Asian or two and a few sexy mature women and I'dbe much more impressed than being distracted by college girls that all look like they just came from the mall trying to impresswith their latest makeup purchases. *Is great when we go in & sit* Pick up has much left to be desired. Both times I've picked up....they've f-ed up. Examples: no... Ranch that I paid extra for, ordered waffle fries with cheese....got plain curly fries. And our chicken chili nachos.....NOCHILI. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality/taste of the food. It was not how I remembered. The chicken wings were tender and... delicious. And the fried shrimp was cooked to perfection. Light and crispy. Both dishes are served with a variety of saucesand/or dry seasonings. A special nod to the Daytona sauce. Hooters should bottle that stuff up and get it into the stores nextto their wing sauce! The place was relatively clean (the washrooms needed some attention on our visit).
