Average service & above average pub food. We came in as a family of 4 between lunch & dinner. It took a bit for a host to show... up, tho we were seated immediately once they did. You can sit on the bar side (football was on, drink specials running) or therestaurant side - we opted for the restaurant side. It wasn't very busy & there appeared to be one server working. We were allalready set on our selections, so, ordering was a breeze. The food came up quickly- I had the shepherds pie, which was seasonedwell, aromatic & herby. My husband had the fish & chips, which were crisp & light - not at all soggy or overcooked- and a tastyaoli. The other two opted for corned beef and said it was ok but not great. The price seemed quite reasonable for 4. Read more

Passing through St. Louis and this restaurant was next to our hotel. We loved it! It was a busy Monday because of hockey, but... the place was full and lively and still rocking along just fine. The food was delicious, we had appetizers and entrees. Thehelpings were generous. Our server Valerie was awesome! The place (she) was busy and she still managed to stay on top ofeverything we needed. Definitely recommend this restaurant to tourists passing through. Little hometown feel to it :-) Read more

Service and management was great. Food was sad and was dead from sitting in the window. Took 45 minutes after we ordered. And we... got here before the rush so that excuse didn't fly. Do better guys. Here's a picture of the chicken sandwich that was as this asa grilled cheese. Read more

?Shepherds pie? Food and service leaves a lot to be desired. Very disappointed in a place that?s a supposed St Louis staple.... Their shepherds pie is basically a terrible version of hamburger helper minus noodles, dumped with a can of peas andcarrots Update: While the service and food were not up to standard, the manager was very attentive and did everything she couldto try to make it right, which was very much appreciated. Service, atmosphere, cleanliness and price all solid 4 stars. However, the corned beef and cabbage barley rates a 3. I will give... them another chance. But it was the most bland food I've eaten in a long time. The corned beef looked like it came straight outof a deli case, sliced for sandwiches and dropped in a pot of unseasoned boiling water. Cabbage and potatoes the same. Read more
