The Cuban sandwich was outstanding?locally sourced meat, homemade bread, pungent mustard, tart pickle. The perfect combination... of tastes. The street corn chowder was equally delicious, thick and flavorful. All topped off with a pumpkin snickerdoodle thatwas just the right level of chewy. Great from start to finish. Read more

This place is da bomb .com, and takes the number one spot on my list of sandwich shops. My favorite, the Laney, hits just right!... I try to make a point to stop in when in the area. Yes, there?s a small wait, but anything worth while takes time! The owner andstaff are a delight to chat with and the ingredients are so fresh. Do yourself a favor and give her a try! Read more

Honestly weirdest food experience I?ve had in years. Employees act like they?ve been sedated. Are you guys okay? Blink twice if... you?re being held captive. Super strange poem framed on the wall. Scary vibes. Anyways I got a vegetarian make your ownsandwich. Spinach, mozzarella, tomatoes, peppers, banana peppers, cucumbers, mayo and vinegar. I normally get this at Subway andit?s pretty good. It took literally 10 minutes for the person to make it and I was the only person there. Sloth mode. I finallygot it, unwrapped it, and boy the disappointment was immediate. I should have taken a pic I?m kicking myself for that. I swearit had 3 spinach leaves. The mozz was unsalted and completely tasteless. They put so little ingredients on it it was like I wasjust eating bread. The bread was actually good but I wanted a sandwich and that is not what I got. If you eat meat maybe thesandwiches are fantastic but do not come here if you?re a vegetarian. Also it was $8 for HALF. Subway is $5.50 and significantlybetter and that?s saying something because, well, Subway. Read more

Good sandwiches, takes a little time..at least when we went as the place nearly had a line out the door. The Cuban was solid,... and I enjoyed the pork store(both with all recommended veggies). Good selection of bottled pop/soda/soda pop. I should be backagain if I'm in the area. Read more

I like ?plain food? but it?s a bit of a stretch. I got a create your own and my husband got the roast beef he was not impressed... at all. Said it was really bland. I normally get my sandwiches with pepperoni but they don?t offer that (or I didn?t see it onthe menu) so I was sad. The place is really nice looking (I really enjoyed the store front) and in a creative part of Cherokeestreet. They have cool cookies they get from Wisk, a few stores down, so the flavors are rotating. The staff was nice and it wasquick which is the reason for 4 stars instead of a lower number. Read more
