Reviews for Dado's Cafe in St. Louis, MO

The food was OK, on balance. The dolmades were extremely flavorful; the baklava had no flavor at all. The service is harder to... pin down. The waitress was kind, and I think she tried to do her best. But she seemed a bit...old-fashioned, if you catch mydrift. She was awkward (do you need separate checks?) during her fleeting (she didn't come back very often, including neitherto pre-bus dishes nor to refill drinks) interactions with my husband and I. This was especially jarring given how much warmerand present she seemed with the...traditional couple seated a couple of tables over from us. I don't think this was maliciousor intentional. Rather, I think Dado's must not attract a very diverse clientele, and that the staff don't often see "peoplelike us." Needless to say, I think we will go to Ari's for our next Greek meal. Read more

As usual, Dado's Cafe was a lovely experience. My sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and my 3 year-old nephew arrived in... time for the last of the Sunday brunch, and we're delighted with the variety of food choices, the friendly and caring service, and especially the delicious food. I highly recommend Dado's. We will definitely come back again for that Sunday Brunch! Read more

Spectacular! Heard great things and it did not disappoint. And they are open on Monday. Prime Rib French Dip May be best beef... sandwich in St Louis. Perfect combo of crunchy bread, tender beef and melted cheese. Choice of Provel or Swiss. Fries were hotand crisp. Hearty portions and terrific waitress. Will be back. Read more

We came here for dinner and it was so good! Very nice inside, waitress was great, and the food was delicious! What a sleeper... from the outside compared to the inside and the food. I can't wait to come back! Read more

We tried Dado?s today. The server was nice and she was able to answer most questions on the menu. Tried the meatballs and... calamari for appetizer which were pretty good. I asked for a gyro but on a baguette instead and they were able to accommodate. It was good but didn?t have much meat on it. The rest of my party had the gyro pizza, dolmades, soup and salad and the gyroburger. They said the food was good. It was a nice meal. Read more

Perfect place for groups with mixed tastes! We walked in and were greeted immediately by a super nice host. The restaurant was... very clean and we were sat alone which was really nice. I got the Dado?s burger medium well (which was cooked perfectly) and myhusband got the big fat Greek combo platter with pastitsio. The food is SOOO GOOD!! I?m very picky and he is a foodie so it?sthe perfect blend because there is just enough variety for us to each select what we want. We also got the Baklava and it wasvery good, super sweet. When we come back I?m definitely going to try to pizza! Definitely recommend! Read more

Nice neighborhood option for Greek inspired pub food. Clean and updated on the inside with good food and service. Never seen it... too busy. This is an extension of the Michaels bar and grill so expect a similar experience. I usually go with their classicburger, but got their gyro pizza this last time and really enjoyed it. Read more
