This place is beautiful, sweet and convenient. It?s Kaldi?s coffee products, coffee specials that rotate monthly and an array of... breakfast, lunch, and non-coffee beverage options. Lately I have been grabbing oatmeal (includes fruit, maca powder, hemp seedsand pecans) and an iced latte. I see lots of students ordering frappes and bagels, too. Their lunch menu starts at 11am. Anotherplus ? they have 20oz coffees. The staff are all helpful and kind but occasionally there is only one person working, but I amnever in a rush so it doesn?t bother me. A note about accessibility ? the front door of the church/cafe has stairs, but there isa side door that leads to the patio. I believe you would be able to navigate a stroller or wheelchair using that entrance. Thereis lots of room inside and outside to have a seat and enjoy your drink, your book, or use the WiFi to study. This feels likehaving our own secret Kaldi location. I?m really grateful they?re here. The website says they are non-profit and while I don?t100% understand how that impacts their model, I hopeful I am putting my daily coffee habit to good use. I think Seth makes agood point that it is housed in a church, there is religious imagery and Christian content present inside. I see why people maywant to know this ahead of time to determine their own comfort level before proceeding. Read more

Really great coffee here. It's not too over the top like some of the crazy chain coffee joints. Very mellow vibe here, and wide... open space to sit and have a more private conversation with someone. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable about theproducts they offer. The patrons here are really all slu students and faculty, so it's a good mix of people. Overall I give 5stars and will recommend to my friends and colleagues. Read more
