Good old fashion diner food. I used to order the "off the menu -the blond slinger," which is like the regular slinger (hash... browns, hamburger patty, 2 eggs, with chili in top) but instead of chili, they use white gravy. Unless you have a waitresswho's been there a long time, you're probably just better telling them how you want it. I went in during the day and she had noidea what I was trying to order. Now they have "the Hoosier," which is like the blond slinger, but with sausage patties.That's a winner. Read more

The pancakes were soggy and way too sweet. Sausage patties were like flavorless briquettes. Chilli is oily and flavorless. Even... the jalepenos weren't spicy. Burgers could also use seasoning. Overall I see why this place thrives, it's the perfect greasyplace to end a night out drinking but I definitely wouldn't visit sober. Read more
My new lunch hot spot. The food is good, service is great, and the prices are affordable. I had one bad experience 2yrs back and... wish I had given them another chance sooner. I've been now at least 10 times with nothing but good experiences. Read more
I like the black& white tile patterns It had a nice old fashioned atmosphere I had the slider Delicious but Skeet (small) I... like their chili recipe, texture and consistency The chili was hardy and savory, almost woody, (no, my hunger exaggerated itsflavor) .... I was excited to find crispy hashbrowns peeking through the chili, I found the eggs and beef patty, They did getthe egg texture right, I was not amused at how few bites, - how small I needed to make my egg bites to stretch them through thewhole clump of hash browns - its awesome that there were some crispy hash browns The thin patty reminded me of the smashedpatties from steak & shake My slider was small enough that I ate every last bite of hash browns and used all of the bread (realbutter!) to sop up the remaining yoke and chili grease I truly cleaned my plate No doggie bag for later That's the new value ofa dollar Read more
Great diner. CASH ONLY. Atm available. Fast and solid service with even faster food. Breakfast is served all day and the coffee... is hot. Booths are small for those over 6ft but manageable. We really enjoyed our breakfast and will be back when we travel 66again. Portion sizes were good and price appropriate. Read more
Outstanding!!! Great waitress, great food, great prices. We had a wonderful time there and will be back often...just moved... into the neighborhood. One concern I did have was that I left a $10 tip on the table for our waitress and the girl that clearedthe table took it. She got away before I could confront her... I'm concerned about that but learned to hand the waitress hertop next time. Read more
