Best Chile Relleno in St. Louis. We have eaten here several times and keep coming back for the Chile Rellenos. It is such a... difficult and labor intensive dish to make and they do a wonderful job. The flavors and textures are just right. Salsa is alsoexcellent. We also had the tortilla soup which was delicious and even better reheated the next day for breakfast with a corntortilla and fried egg floating on top. Ambiance was upscale and the wait staff very good. Will continue coming to Carreta's. Read more

It was right down the street from the hotel we were staying at which was really convenient for us. Me and my family liked the... food but it was pricey. We ended up paying $70 for three dishes and a drink. We probably won’t go back, instead we’ll trysomething else next time. Read more
I used to go into the city for my favorite Mexican food, but decided to give this a try a couple weeks ago. I’m so glad I did!... Their chicken quesadilla is perfection and sangria is phenomenal.
