First time in St. Louis. Louisiana born and raised. We love Mexican food and we also love fried chicken. For awhile a friend of mine has been telling me to go to Amigo Joe's, he's always boasted about the food and margs but who... doesn't brag about their favorite Mexican restaurant? He was right! We've been 3 times in 3 weeks. Inside or on the patio you'llreceive fast, accommodating and all around great service. I got the seafood burrito and it was amazing, large shrimp and fatpeices of lobster bathed in queso and verde sauce. We got a pitcher of frozen watermelon margaritas and they were strong. Alsowe couldn't finish and they let me take the rest to go. Bill came out to 50 dollars for 2 adult meals a kids plate and margswhich is crazy cheap. Everything was AMAZING! Don't let this underrated under-starred Mexican joint fool you. You are missing out if you chose... elsewhere and craving some delicious Mexican with a flare. I am a huge fan of Mariachi's Mexican restaurant but the explosiveflavors from each of these dishes won my family over.
