Been going to this place for years and the food has not changed from the first time I've been here still excellent and very good... I highly recommend you stop in an try them out for yourself plus the prices are reasonable not overly expensive. They takecredit n debt cards as well as you know the ever so popular $Cash$ to. The parking is adequate and the seating arrangementsinside the restaurant is adequate as well it's not all that big as you would expect but it is clean and the foods awesome Read more

One of my favorites, try the hot braised sauce sometime. This is my favorite local Chinese restaurant in the St. Louis metro... and I?ve been to these restaurants a lot. It gets bonus points for being in an old Taco Bell, and the husband and wife arealways nice. I look forward to eating here especially after being out of town for a few weeks because of work. No where elseis A taste of China so Unique. Read more

Mediocre food at best. Lemon chicken was bland, bland, bland. The Happy Family was just ok. The Crab Rangoon was bland. Zero... chance of going again. Read more

My husband wanted to celebrate his birthday here because they had unique vegan options and were extremely affordable (cheaper... than most similar take-out oriented restaurants). We love Chinese food but had no idea this little innocuous place would be SOdelicious. I had the hot braised tofu and he had the Mongolian tofu (see photos). Neither dish was one available in our hometown(Cincinnati, Ohio). Neither were particularly spicy, either, but both were ridiculously delicious. I had a hard time eating itslowly enough not to burn my tongue. The half dishes were $6.50 and the whole dishes were $8.50. This is among the cheapestChinese food we've ever eaten but among the best flavor-wise. Both of us left with full and happy stomachs. I should note thatwe dined in. The place was well air-conditioned, cute, comfortable aesthetic, and clean. The tables and chairs could use someupdating eventually, but we personally don't care about that kind of thing. The woman at the counter was super friendly andwilling to answer questions about the dishes. Dining in meant we served on real plates with real silverware, which was asurprise considering I figured we'd get take-out boxes and plastic forks. Each dish came with white rice, as is standard, andtheir fortune cookies were the quality ones (both of flavor and fortunes). Although we ate inside, there are some tablesavailable outside as well. We loved this place and wish we could transport it home. We will try to make another stop herebefore we leave for Cincinnati. You are lucky to have this wonderful gem of a restaurant in Fenton! A Taste of China receives myhighest recommendation. Read more

Good food even though it wasn?t the ?traditional American? version I?m used to. It?s very inexpensive! And the restaurant was... clean and the lady behind the counter was friendly. I ordered Cashew chicken lunch special (default comes with dark meat; $1up-charge for white meat). My meal was good and the chicken was fried (default option), however, this isn?t the traditionalcashew chicken I?m used too. That?s the only reason I didn?t give the restaurant a 5 star rating. I think since I ordered atlunch time, maybe they prep a similar cook technique for all meals and add sauces as desired?! Again, it was good and there?splenty of food for just $5.50! Read more
