At the airport location. It's not too busy in there, but there are 4 people working who couldn't be bothered to help anyone.... There were people waiting to be seated, a few at a few tables and then they have a spot to purchase sandwiches which is where Iwas. I waited for a good 15 minutes while each of those 4 servers looked me in the eye and didn't help me. Finally I had to goin, and sit at the bar and ask for someone to come to the till. They all looked at me like I was bothering them, told me to goback to the spot and someone would come. Which they did a few minutes later but I wouldn't say customer service was any of theirstrong points. Read more

We had been to yellowbelly downtown St Johns last night and worst food, very short staffed so thought we would try airport... today. Food was delish and hot. Not a long wait. Staff was quick and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place. Notsure why negative reviews Read more
People who work there are great?. However, the Yellowbelly owner should go back (or go in the first place) to business school.... First time I tried going with some colleagues, they had to stop accepting patrons as they?re short staffed due to COVID. AKA,they underpay their employees so no one wants to drive out to the airport to barely make ends meet. Thought I?d give it anothershot today? Bad idea. I got in after waiting for 15 minutes (restaurant was not busy, only a few employees), sat at the bar andordered / paid for my food as soon as I sat down to expedite the process. 20 minutes pass and the bartender says they lost myorder. By this time I couldn?t wait and had to leave for my flight. At least the gentleman was nice enough to let me take agranola bar for my fully paid meal. If the owners read this, DO BETTER. You can?t use COVID as an excuse for your poorownership and management. Highly recommend eating prior to coming to the airport. Avoid. Read more
For the business folks, this is a great spot to get a sliver of work done while you wait for your flight. It's semi quiet and... the service is excellent. The food is also very delicious. Some of the best I've experienced in Newfoundland Read more
Terrible, terrible!... don't eat here. We had 2 hour wait for food ( lucky we had delayed (?) flight! ) Did have a delightful... Waitress who was going mad with frustration at kitchen staff... Caesar salad was rubbish and expensive, burger a disaster whichshould not have been put out to a diner.... poor, poor, poor! Not at all good for promoting local cuisine let alonetourism! Staff is very friendly and my server was very attentive. My burger was delicious and presentation was good. Was very quick for... food. Overall great experience. Read more
