We were in St. John?s for a conference this weekend and looking for dinner and a pint. After a long walk, we popped into this... pub, figuring it would do. I?m so glad we did! The staff were incredibly friendly (shout-out to the barman, Nick!) and allowedus to sample a couple types of local craft brews so we could narrow our choices. Food was simple but exceptional (French onionsoup was excellent) and the vibe was friendly and warm, right down to the choice playlist. We didn?t sample the cocktails butthey also looked fantastic. 10/10 recommend this gem. Read more

Great bar with really good beer prices. The bartender was super friendly and even introduced me to the people sitting around the... bar. Discovered this gem of a pub after an afternoon of shopping on Water St. This pub is one, if not the nicest pub I?ve ever been... to. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Great selection of drinks and fabulous atmosphere. And Lars custard cone, wow! Iwill definitely go back to this pub on my next trip to St. John?s. Love it! Read more
