Nice spot with good music, friendly staff. Free pool table upstairs - the balls get stuck inside though, you've gotta reach in... the side up towards the head of the table on the left and unstick them. Read more
We were in St. John?s for a conference this weekend and looking for dinner and a pint. After a long walk, we popped into this... pub, figuring it would do. I?m so glad we did! The staff were incredibly friendly (shout-out to the barman, Nick!) and allowedus to sample a couple types of local craft brews so we could narrow our choices. Food was simple but exceptional (French onionsoup was excellent) and the vibe was friendly and warm, right down to the choice playlist. We didn?t sample the cocktails butthey also looked fantastic. 10/10 recommend this gem. Read more
Great bar with really good beer prices. The bartender was super friendly and even introduced me to the people sitting around the... bar.
