I love this place. Usually we get it from Skip the Dishes, but today we went and picked it up from their location on Empire Ave.... The staff (Shiva) was very friendly. The food was excellent. I had Butter Chicken. I appreciate that they give you the sauce andchicken in a separate container, so that when you get home and combine it with the rice, it will be fresh. Visited Spicex couple of times. Found array of spices , groceries, and frozen items. Anyine looking for Indian groceries qould... not be disappointed. Variety of spicy pickles available. This place also provide indian food services like Biriyani, curries andother items. Only take away. I ordered food through skip the dishes . Really enjoyed the delicacy but with TOO MUCH raisins inthe biriyani, couldnt enjoyed much. Read more
Kerala style beef and Porotta is a must try. You will find every south indian mix masala packets as well.
Delicious and reasonably priced. The butter chicken has a sweetness to it and the rice was silky smooth! The veggie samosas had... a kick to them which we liked. Wasn't served hot, more like lukewarm but we popped it into a microwave and that made it evenbetter. Also had the beef masala which was flavourful! Food didn't take too long - about 20 minutes. Immediately upon entering the restaurant I could tell from the smell that I was in for a great meal and still the food managed... to surpass all expectations. The service was quick and very courteous and the food was full of flavour and spiced perfectly.100% will be eating here again during my next trip to St. John's. Read more
