I really liked my Combo #2 dinner from Red Chopstix on Pelham Road. I phoned my order in and it was ready for pick up in less... than 15 minutes. My meal included sweet and sour chicken balls, chow mein, chicken fried rice, egg roll and a fortune cookie.It?s a very generously sized meal, with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow?s lunch. Ordered bbq pork foo young..lean meat throughout no fat or gristle just delicious fried perfectly...same with the bbq fried... rice!! The red chopstix spring rolls have whole shrimps in them and crispy fry..all so good!! Read more
Best Chinese takeout in town. Super fresh and delicious. The staff are awesome, too. I love their Red Chopstix rolls and their... honey garlic spare ribs are one of my favourite dishes, though I've yet to find one thing on the menu I haven't liked yet. Imiss the lunch special. Portions are really generous & price was extremely reasonable but the food was just not what I was expecting. The orange beef... sauce was good but the beef slices were coated in some rubbery white paste & had no flavour, the S&S chicken balls had a greatsauce but were 90% breading with a teeny tiny chunk of chicken in the middle. The honey garlic spare ribs were good but one outof 3 was not encouraging for a return visit sadly. Read more
Can you see a shrimp inside of what is supposed to be a breaded shrimp? Ordered #3 and #5, Chicken fried rice wasn't fried and... had a couple of grey pieces of pork and chicken, General Tao's had few tiny dry pieces smothered in a cheap sweet sauce,, nosesame seeds, no hot red peppers. Size of the meal is worth 10 dollars. Rice is alright. Chicken ball are good. Chickens wings are okay.
