I came for lunch for the wing special. I ordered 2 lbs. One garlic Parm and one Cajun. You have to buy a drink to get the... deal, so I ordered a diet Pepsi. The wings are big, but they were not cooked well enough or weren't dusted. The waitress sentthem back to be re dusted, however it didn't make much difference. The diet Pepsi needed to be changed (tasted like water). Atleast the wings were on sale but I left a pound of wings there and I didn't even get a sorry or a small discount. Worst off Iwasn't even full I just couldn't stomach them. The waitress was too busy socializing with her regulars to care about mybusiness. I sat there forever waiting for my bill. I usually go to linwell and will continue. First time at this location andwill be my last. I don't recommend this location for wings especially on a random Thursday at lunch. Such a shame because Ihave been a huge supporter of fat louies for a long time. Read more
I've been wanting to try Fat Louies for so long. I'm really sorry I waited so long! Nothing bad to say, can't complain about... loaded toppings and lots of cheese on a pizza! Cheese reaches to the edge of the pie. It's perfect for the crust haters. Great great value. We got the 2 - 12 slice pizzas & 3 lbs of wings for a family of 4 and none of us could have more than 3slices. So filling with all the cheesy, topping goodness! I will dream of this place, until we order again. Found our newpizza joint! Read more
Wings were dry. We had decent service. Rough language in the bar and we had an 8 year old with us. Probably our fault. Pizza... was good though. Our nachos consisted of the bottom of the bag. Read more
The pizza was very good, chicken wings very tasty, crunchy outside and soft and juicy inside :) I found this restaurant in a FB... group, we were satisfied with the food, the only 1 thing I didn't like it was the music, it was a bit loud, I probably amgetting older haha, but I like the music a bit lower, so people can have a nice time and conversation ???? friendly staff andgood food, definitely we wil go back to try other meals! When Anthony bought this place he tore it down to the bare studs. Everything in this place is brand new, including the... kitchen. I can see that great efforts were made to make the bar look as clean and modern as it does. Everytime I walk in I aminstantly welcomed. My wife and I love coming in for wings and pizza and to hang out with the friendly staff. Whether youare looking for a quiet night out, a big group or want to watch sports, it is the place for you. The food is great. They havea wide menu to pick from and they take the time to make things just the way you want. The bar has sub-zero Coors and Canadian;it is the best and coldest beer I have had. Although the Linwell location has been home for many, take the time and go say hito Anthony and the crew at the Facer location. You won't be disappointed!! Read more
What a great concept to have a Pizzeria & Bar! Fat Louie's on Niagara/Facer Street only recently opened this second location and... we were so happy we could try it after watching the building be renovated the past few months. We ordered a 12-slice pizza andcheese balls. The pizza was incredibly good with a heavy layer of cheese. The dough clearly had been fermented a while becauseof the depth in flavour. That cheese though was so good and it seemed like they used some different kinds of cheese because thetaste changed throughout. The cheese balls were a great option. Served with sour cream, these little explosions of meltedcheese really hit the spot. We debated getting the Fat Balls (Garlic flavour) but went with the cheese balls. They were servedin a container that was too big, so they seemed disproportionate.. but they were so good that it really didn't mater. Insidelooks like a great place to hang out with friends or family and enjoy some drinks while munching on pizza. The space is ampleand we genuinely want to go here once restrictions allow. Amazing amazing amazing!!! Not only is it a homely style pizzeria, they have great deals! We ordered a pizza and wings special?... two 12 slice pizzas and 3 lbs of wings for 55$ they did not short you on toppings! It was very busy but the staff made sure youwere taken care of.
