We gave this restaurant a bad review 3 months ago about the boards they called fish and you would think chef Thomas would have... at least explain why this bad experience would not happen and make an offer to correct our concern. But no one cares. Sad Read more

My wife had raved about the fish and chips she had previously enjoyed at Larters. Time to go this evening and satisfy the... craving. We both ordered the fish and chips. One piece was a generous serving but, it came burnt to a crisp and rock hard. Mywife demonstrated the hardness to the waitress who replied that it was the correct way to cook it, the chef checks fortemperature to make sure it is cooked properly. My wife and I ate and quietly decided that this would no longer be the place togo for her fish and chip fix. Not a difficult dish to make. Anyone for deep fried boards of fish? Read more

You haven't been to Larter's? Probably the most comfortable, professional, and relaxed place on earth nearest to Winnipeg.... Semi-private means they want to share their prized course with everyone. At least visit the awesome restaurant and golf shop ordriving range so you're ready to take on a truly memorable experience...one day :) Read more

Course was in great shape, staff were friendly and attentive, the one thing I forgot to pack was an overnight bag because we got... stuck behind two groups on every hole. Even with a starter it was jammed up and marshal was nowhere to be found. Read more

Very disappointed in the restaurant experience I had. Usually order the hot turkey sandwich and it was always very good. A large... portion with mashed potatoes. This time I was told there were no more mashed potatoes so I had the soup which was very good. When the turkey sandwich came it was on the smallest piece of white bread and had a thin layer of turkey with some gravy.Usually I have trouble finishing this meal, but this time I thought it was a joke or a kid's portion. I told the waitress butnothing was done. Paid basically $18.00 for this and left hungry! Ridiculous. A restaurant needs to be consistent in order toretain loyal customers. Read more
