Been hearing tons of good reviews here but first time visiting. This place is awesome! I got the crispy chicken burger, curly... fries and strawberry milkshake. The chicken burger is subpar but the curly fries and milkshake is great! You can watch thesunset from there and enjoy eating outdoor or chill dining indoor in their vintage decor. They may look chaotic but they weresurprisingly more organized than McDonald?s I think. You can hear the number announcement outside as well so no concern ofmissing your order if you rather stay outside. Definitely worth visiting and bringing out of town guest over! Summer fun activity! My kids loves this place so much for their food, ice cream and the arcade area. We always order curly... fries, onion rings, the works, lunar burger and of course for my youngest kids cheeseburger combo with homemade fries which evencomes in a carboard car. Then, we order the ice cream for last and best part which is always such a treat. And now that thingsare opening up again, it is so nice to park and eat inside or in the back and eat by the patio tables. Read more
This is a beautiful place to have lunch. There is so much memorabilia to enjoy, games for children to play and it's an... atmosphere that takes you to the past. The only thing I didn't enjoy this time was my cheese dog. There was so much cheese on itbut it wasn't melted, it was just a pile of shredded cheese. Otherwise I always love going to the Half Moon. It's a nice driveout Henderson highway. The restsurant is always clean and The servers are very friendly. Thank you for that! Read more
Half Moon is always a nice place to go if you want a little cruise and dinner to a beautiful sunset. Their diner style food is... delicious, and they even have Beyond Meat options on the menu! I suggest taking the scenic drive down River Road on your way outif coming from Winnipeg. Read more

Love the retro diner atmosphere! Wall murals are awesome and retro is everywhere. A real 50's diner throwback complete with the... appropriate music Staff are friendly. COVID protocols followed. Deluxe dog is a classic. Added onion rings today. They couldhave used a bit more deep fryer time. Under done, soft and not crisp. Was disappointed in the rings and the reason for only fourstars today. Other times they have been great. The Saturn hamburger and deluxe dog were excellent though and would rate them afive. Was a very quiet day there. The Half Moon has been one of our go to stops to ride out to from Winnipeg for a burger ordog... And ice cream...., for many, many years. Read more
The atmosphere is great. The place inside reminds me of the 50?s. It is clean and fun looking. They also have a place outside... to sit and eat. Great view. I couldn?t say much for the staff, the lady at the counter just took our order and that was the onlyinteraction we had with staff. The food was ok. First, they do have a great system, a nice loud PA to call your number. But theemployee calling our number was very quiet, we didn?t hear it. And it was not crowded or load from customers. I noticed a trayon the counter sitting there for a few minutes before realizing it was ours, so the ice cream was just melted. My wife had icecream, but I had food lol. She has the Peanut Butter Comet. She enjoyed it but it was melted and soupy lol. I had the LunarBurger and it was mostly dry. Felt like no sauces were in it. I should should have asked for some on the side. I will be addingpictures. And I also tried the Moon Dog. That one had more sauces on it then the burger. It was good and it had lots of grilledonions. So, for ice cream a great place. Make sure you stay close to the counter and pay attention for your name or it willjust be left there melting. Read more
