Went there with family for a get together August 9th, some people's food was good apparently, but my fish and chips was soggy,... and my wife had garlic toast that was swimming in butter. Interestingly, my sister and her friend had the same experience withthe fish and chips several weeks later. Read more

Poor decision by manager. Was served soggy fish n chips (like a wet noodle) and they served me another that was still soft but... manageable. The server apologized and said they would give a discount. When paying we were given a bill without a discount andtold the manager, thinking they would honor it on the spot. She then told us they would only give a discount if I didn't eat anymore but because they served me another 2 pieces w/o fries (only had 2 bites from the first) they couldn't give adiscount. It's too bad because a simple discount and apology could have salvaged the experience. As is, will never eat at thatestablishment again. Read more

Ordered off Skip the Dishes tonight. Our food was okay, not the greatest and some portions were small for the price. Also the... dessert I ordered was not what I got. Ordered the Salted Carmel Apple Pie and I got this pumpkin pie instead.. which wasn't evenon the menu? When you?re living through a pandemic and restaurants are delivery only, it?s truly a roll of the dice. My fingers were crossed... when ordering a late night Philly cheesesteak sandwich and yam fries I couldn?t wait to have. I wish I could say it was amazing,but all I can?t say was it was edible. I dreamed of a moist meaty sandwich with gooey cheese and worth all the guilt I waswilling to live with when eating it. Sadly it was nothing close to my dream, dried meat like bits and pieces of meat similar towhat I think it?d be like to eat construction paper. The cheese, well what you see in the photo was the hype and not much more.So that brings us to the juice, the sauce, if that?s amazing it literally covers all the imperfection of a sandwich we canforget as we soak it up in flavour. But....... it didn?t have any flavour at all I tried dunking that sandwich like Kobe with aslam dunk and no win it was tasteless. So as much as I would?ve loved any of the key elements to save the day, it was a totalbummer. I saved myself on the yam fries I lost my hype after the sandwich. I did my best to sell it for the three stars with agreat edited photo for viewing pleasure. I can only hope when restaurants reopen maybe it?s a better option dinning in.
