I was super excited when they opened a Popeyes Louisiana Chicken location in St.Albert. The first few times I went, there were... issues with my orders. Didn?t think much of it as they were new at the time, and still trying to figure things out. I wasn?tgoing to write a review. However after the most recent experience, I will NEVER support this location. Going forward I willdrive to Edmonton or Sherwood Park locations. (Yes even with high gas price). Placed a mobile order for a family pack at 1:12pm. Did not walk out with my order until after 2pm. The mobile order only had dine in option and no drive through option whichother locations have. Upon arrival I was told my 2 sandwiches were not ready and it?s a 8 minute wait, however the rest of theitems were. 17 minutes later sandwiches were ready, however they gave away our chicken tenders to another customer. So theysaid have to wait another 5 minutes for chicken tenders. They offered a drink or apple pie instead of the tenders. I declined asmy kids wanted tenders as a meal and not drink or dessert. After another long wait chicken tenders were still not ready yet, Isaw nuggets and asked if I could take nuggets instead as I don?t want to wait any longer. As I headed out the door, I noticedthat they didn?t issue me a receipt. I needed it to do the online survey, (don?t care about the free food item). All I wanted todo was let head office know about how bad this location is run. Anyways they threw away my receipt. Took them a long time to gothrough the garbage can to find it. While they were searching for the receipt, they offered a refund. I declined as I wantedthe receipt, and money was not the issue here. They also gave me only 2 dipping sauce packs even though the order specified 4dipping sauce packs. Good food and clean place. Food that I order was fresh and delicious. I usually go here for a lunch break because it?s near to... my workplace. The lobby was clean, staff were friendly, amy is always taking my order , who is very kind and attentive to myorder. And Katrina was helping on preparing my order. I?m just amazed on how fast they?re service is. I haven?t even pay myorder yet but the food was already packaged and ready to go. Just stopped at this location in St. Albert. We ordered a classic and and a spicy chicken sandwich. Staff was good and the... chicken was cooked, however; the chicken was just above room temperature. There was no customers in drive through and we had towait 3 minutes so would not expect it to be so cold. Would not recommend this location. Read more

2nd time we have been to this location and they were out of food. Waited almost 30 min in the drive thru just to be told most of... the menu was unavailable. Another 20 min to get out of the drivethru because of cars in front and behind us. So many upsetcustomers. Have some courtesy and put up a sign at the entrance to the drive thru instead of simply hoping to sell whatever isleft to cook. Our options were drumsticks or onion rings lol. Good fast food! I usually have the Classic Chicken sandwich. The food quality is good. Tasty chicken and bun. Chicken was hot... and the bun fresh. Place wasn?t busy at 1:00 pm so service was quick. $8.00 but worth it. Several poor reviews here but that Isuspect is due to lunch/supper rush hours. Foods excellent. I called in on my way home from work and asked about family deals they told me 1 side 1 box of biscuits and 8... pieces of chicken were 1 option with a total price tag of 38$ tax included. The last time I was in the drive-through, there was a person in front of me yelling at a seemingly 16-year-old girl working the... drive-through about the wait time. A grown adult screaming at a child. Just disgraceful. This young girl continued to stillsmile at me as the next customer and apologize about the wait time. Good for you. I apologize for not getting your name, but youare fantastic at your job. Keep that attitude and work ethic up! The wait time here can sometimes be a little long,particularly in the drive-through, but I have never been disappointed with the actual customer service I've received here, whichis what my review is based on. I've started walking into the store directly, as I usually get faster service that way, but themanager recognizes me when I go in, which I thought was lovely!
