Reviews for Mr.Sub Erin Ridge in St. Albert, AB
Stopped in for take out the other day. The lady taking my order didn?t seem to be paying attention at all had to repeat myself a... couple times, I was the only Customer in the store and seemed to want to rush me out. I ordered 2 large subs and they only putmeat for a half sub and not the full on one of them and just spread it across the bun. Not very friendly service the entire timewas in there. I generally prefer mr sub over subway but won?t be coming back to this location. Read more
I couldn?t believe how ignorant the owner was. I asked if I could have my sauce put it after my sandwich got toasted and it... somehow became an argument. The rest of my time ordering was so unpleasant. Will not be coming back to this place. No one isfriendly. I have to try out Oodle noodle instead like I initially wanted to. Please do better, this wasn?t costumer friendly orgood costumer service at all. Read more
The owners are rude, arrogant and argue with their customers. They act as if it is a privilege for you to order from their... store. Sorry, it doesn't work that way, I'll spend my hard earned money somewhere else where they believe in customer service. Read more
When entering the store the lady serving was having a conversation with another customer. This was fine but I ended up standing... in line behind her friend as they continued to chat. I waited approximately 5 minutes then the Lady at the counter asked herfriend what she wanted and they then they proceeded to have a discussion on the various subs and sizes. I left the store withoutpurchasing anything. If you want to talk to your friend thats fine but at least ask them to wait while you serve a customer anddo your job. Read more
I often depend on reading reviews for local businesses but I don't normally leave reviews for them unless they were extremely... good or extremely awful. In this case the experience was the worst I have ever had anywhere period. I'm a sandwich guy and Ihave always preferred Mr. Sub to Subway as I find it fresher tasting. So much so that when I started working in Morinville Iwould often make the drive to the north end of St. Albert for lunch rather than eat at the local Subway, this went on for years, often accompanied by my nephew. I would like to consider ourselves loyal customers. Service always seemed to be good (althoughawkward at times) and once we even supported them with a large catering order for our company. Well everything took a turn whenone day I ordered my pizza sub as usual and the sandwich maker only put one piece of cheese on the sub instead of the usual two,I politely asked "Isn't there supposed to be two pieces of cheese on a pizza sub?" and she responded that it is now a salami subif you want any veggies on it. I found it strange but took it in stride. While I was chowing down on my one piece of cheesepizza sub I went on to the Mr. Sub website only to find that indeed a pizza sub does come with two pieces of cheese and quote"your choice of toppings". It appeared as though this location was making it's own rules. Because of this unusual experience wesimply did not visit again for months. Flash forward to about a week ago and we decide to go back and give it another try, thistime it's the owner making my sub, I order my once usual pizza sub and SURPRISE! still doing the one piece of cheese thing. Ionce again ask for the other piece of cheese I'm about to pay for and seriously all hell breaks loose! He starts yelling andclaiming that evertime I come into the store I need special service, blah, blah, blah. He says maybe they do that at Subway orother Mr Subs. With my sub being mostly constructed and my nephew's already complete my nephew say Read more
I was in the store earlier today with my uncle for lunch. We have been going there for years and have also gotten catering.... Usually my uncle orders a pizza sub. it is normaly made with a piece of cheese, salami, pizza sauce, toppings of choice, andthen another piece of cheese. Recently we were told that they no longer make pizza subs with two pieces of cheese and notoppings. So we looked it up on their corporate website and learned that is not true and their recipe had not changed. So todaywe went back and ordered our food as usual, only to be met with the owner making snarky remarks that we do not want a pizza sub,and we are not ordering correctly what we want is a "salami sub". As it is not that big of a deal my uncle casually mentionedthat other Mr.Subs are not following this "new menu" and their website does not coincide with what the owner is saying. Theowner then got extremely angry and told us to go somewhere else if we did not want to follow his store rules. So I said okay wewill go to subway then if he is going to act rude. He then picked up the sandwich and THREW it at a wall! All the while yellingand swearing at us, as well as calling us names. It was the most absurd thing I have ever witnessed a business owner do. So weleft and went to the Mr.Sub at the other end of St.Albert trail. Ordered our sandwiches, and had no hassle with the way thesandwiches are supposed to be made. I would not recommend this location to anyone who does not want food thrown at them and tobe called names. Read more
