Great service and good selection of food for a pub. Will go again.

Had really been looking forward to this restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has so much potential (the only... reason i'm awarding 2 stars)...the food was the worst I've had in a long time. The burger was so burnt I had a hard time chokingit down. It was terrible. McDonald's would have been better and I don't even eat McDonald's. Really sad considering we left withan $80 bill. Cute decor, service was good but not amazing. And the food was very very mediocre. Portions are good but I prefer quality to... quantity. And the price didn't justify the meal. Ingredients are good on paper but fail to be memorable together as a dish.It's missing something. And the ingredients aren't quite fancy enough for the price tag. And the hot dog... Was 2/3 the size oftheir bun. When it arrived I actually said, where is the rest of it? I thought it had been cut. I appreciate the effort to tryto elevate the plates but it just didn't do it for me.
