OMG. I don't know where to start. It was the worst meal of wings(overcooked.small and just nasty), sausage on a bun was funky... tasting and my vodka and cranberry might as well have been a mystery drink. What's to like here Read more

My girlfriend and I decided to try Sammy?s after driving past the place for a couple of months. After arriving we were handed a... piece of paper with a quarter of the listed items on there menu online, no biggie. Ordered 2 orders of wings, and a order ofdeep fried mushrooms. When the mushrooms came out we were disappointed to say the least. They were slimey not very well cooked.On too the wings that took 30-40 minutes to arrive in a mostly empty store, they were decent but the portion seemed a littlesmall compared to other places I have been. But the icing on the cake was when we were waiting for our food the cook (who Iassume is the owner aswell) came out and started drinking with other customers. Very unprofessional. Don?t bother wasting your time or money. We ordered Snake Bites, which after 10 minutes, we were advised they didn?t have... because they ?couldn?t get it from the supplier?. We ordered deep fried pickles instead. DEEP fried they were. After 25 minutesof a burning smell coming from the kitchen, we received burnt to a crisp pickles, half breaded. At the same time, we alsoreceived our chicken wings. Incredibly small, overcooked and tasteless chicken. How incredibly disappointing. During our 1 hourexperience, the vulgar language coming from the other patrons and ear-piercing loud live music was just as hard to stomach asthe food. We ordered takeout from here last night for the first time. We are always happy to support local businesses and this one is nice... and close to home in Cavan. We ordered some burgers, fries and onion rings. The fries and onion rings were great, although theportion for a ?family? fries size was quite small. My only complaint would be the burgers. They were ok and completely ediblebut I was quite disappointed with the fact that clearly weren?t home made. Just a regular frozen burger I could have made athome on my barbecue. Tammy was a great server and very friendly. Loved the atmosphere with the live music. The wings were unreal and the special... wings with the 4 flavors was the perfect combination of taste and heat. The burger left things to be wanted and maybe the menucould be expanded but other than that loved the night away from the city life.
