Best bloody mary ever! They fry their own chips, guacamole is from actual fresh avocados. Really good french fries. The gouda... fries are amazing. Also a wonderful and friendly staff. Great food good price and cozy place. I highly recommend the tri-tip burger. The smoke flavor is amazing, and the beef is juicy.... My family likes a lot. The pierpoint burger is also good with juicy patties. The chef salad has three types of meat andvarieties of vegetables. The place is cozy and the staffs are very friendly. I came in with a trash bag at the trip and a staffsaid thank you for keeping the forest clean ???? that made my day. Read more

It was late last night definitely after 8 they where about to shut off the open sign and came out to ask if we needed anything.... We hadn't eaten since around 10 and had been driving all day trying to find the trees. The Woman who I believe is one of theowners cooked us up some amazing burgers seriously the best I've had in a while. Let us eat grab some drinks in the store. Heckeven the price was great. Delicious food and friendly staff. Hours were sometimes not convenient due to my work schedule but it was nice to stop by and... get dinner on my way down the mountain after work when they were open. It was also a convenient place to stop by to check thenews considering most other places on the mountain had no reception or wifi. I appreciated that they had a pizza topping thatmost other places don't: sweet corn kernels. It adds more texture to the meal. I would stop by there again. Read more
Absolutely fantastic little diner! The prices are good, the food was excellent, & the wait staff was friendly. The chicken fried... steak was fried perfect, the gravy had bacon & sausage in it, the hashbrowns were perfect, & the eggs were nice & fluffy. Ican't say enough good things about this breakfast! We had just finished our visit up Ponderosa, and I had planned for the group to eat there for breakfast. I chose them since they... seemed to have the most tasty food selections in that mountain area. I'm very glad I did! Everyone got what they want (includingmimosas), and what a lovely and fun hostess/waitress! You can get the vibe you're aiming for there: quiet/serene or interactivewith other customers/workers.
