A small but solid sushi place, with prompt and courteous service, fresh food, and at a decent price. The entrance is at the... "back" of the building, or at least the counter-intuitive side to me, but it's there! Once inside, the place is modern andunfussy, with seating at the sushi bar and tables. Very nice place. My family and I ones or couple times we go there for lunch and dinner. Very delicious and fresh sushi and... nagiri. When we dine in Sushi chef always treat us with some especial of sushi/nagiri dish. Delicious food. They have some verygood beers and wines. Very nice staff. They treat everyone like VIP . My wife and I have eaten here twice and both times were impresses with the restaurant. Fire crunchy was super spicy and loaded... with toppings. Super cruncy and tasty. The cowboy roll were unique with grilled shrimp on skewer. The salmon sashimi was freshand large pieces. Miso soup was nice. One Word, "DISAPPOINTED" 2.5 stars After reading the gleaming reviews I thought to myself, this must be the best place for... sushi..... Couldn't wait to go, but once there.... Well, my humble opinion, much better places everywhere. FOOD: We ordered 4different sushi plates Beef bento box and fried ice cream. Sushi, maybe for someone who has never compared to other sushiplaces, it may be good. But it wasn't close. The sushi didn't taste as fresh as other locations. Something wierd about thetaste. The fish did not have the consistency or texture I have tasted previously. Disclaimer, I don't like seafood but for youguys I will taste every food out there. Beef Bento, beef was over cooked, which made it hard and chewy. The sauce was notsalty. The dumplings were extremely oily! It was like putting a spoon full of oil in your mouth. First time I've had frieddumplings so oily. See pictures. The other fried items, onions, sweat potatoes,etc.. were spot on. ???? The best item was thefried ice cream. Together, the fried coating and vanilla ice cream made sense. All textures matched perfectly. My two cents,maybe ask the client if they may wish some warm chocolate to give the flavors an added dimension. The constant flavors can getboring. But this dish is definitely the only reason I would return. Go figure. LOCATION It's next to a major strip mall, in asmall section with plenty of parking. RESTAURANT Small, tight. Not a place for a romantic or business meeting. CUSTOMERSERVICE Lovely. Tom was excellent, knowledgeable and caring. Only because of Tom, the restaurant should be 5????. BATHROOMS Clean and decent. RETURN FACTOR 10% To buy Fried Ice Cream RECOMMEND A FRIEND FACTOR 0% SUMMARY Theyhave strong potential but they need to get that quality control in check.
