Decent Mexican food. Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 during thr week. They have a good selection of drinks on the happy hour menu... and some food choices. The food came out quick and was pretty good. It wasn't that busy when we arrived so I think that had alot to do with our experience. I would suggest trying it of you are in the area. Everyone has their own view of Mexican foodso it may not be exactly what you are use too! Read more

Our party of eleven was celebrating a birthday for Sunday lunch. The staff was accommodating to move and set up tables on the... outdoor patio in the shade. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our group ordered a wide array of meals - frombrunch menu omelet to fajitas to salads. All were served professionally Margaritas are huge!! I recommend! Read more

The food is good and the service is wonderful! We've been there a handful of times and even though we always have a different... server, they've all been friendly and helpful. They have this amazing spicy green sauce that I keep forgetting the name of butit's so delicious! My son absolutely loves their steak laredo and always cleans his plate whenever he orders it. We'reoriginally from CA and it's not the same as what you'd get in CA so definitely don't go in expecting that. But the food isdelicious in its own right. We'll definitely be going back for more. Read the reviews and had to give it a try. Total waste of time and calories. This is a gem that should remain hidden. The food... is over priced, over rated, and over cooked. My wife ordered chicken enchiladas and I ordered the fajitas just so we could havea variety to sample. The disappointment ensued. Some say the rice is surprisingly seasoned. I guess they grew up eating whiterice. The rice was seasoned like all basic Mexican rice. The beans were nothing special. We tried both black and pinto beans. There was nothing surprising about the food. The chicken enchiladas were average. Had enough sauce , but lacked cheese andseasoning. Still not sure why there is ranch in the sour cream. The fajitas were over charred (what I call " burnt". Theshells were over heated and hard, the lettuce and tomatoes soaked in a ranch sour cream. There was hardly enough meat 7 thinslices of steak and chicken. Onions and peppers were burnt and disintegrated on the pan. The guacamole was good, but not worththe price. The service is typical at best. We waited for 40 minutes for the below average over priced food that some call a"hidden gem". If this is a gem I would describe it as a cubic zirconia. Shines like a diamond on the review sites, but when youlook closer it lacks value and worth. Think twice before you drive out of your way to this place. Read more

Second visit Mar 18, 2022: Tonight I had NY Steak and Shrimp dinner special. It was very good. Cooked perfectly, served with... fried plantains and rice/beans. $30.00. I would say it was worth it. But, the service tonight was not worth the aggravation. Ended up making my whole table, including me, angry. The restaurant was about 60% full. We had to ask several times for chipsand salsa. After a long wait we finally got chips and salsa. Another 20 minutes in we were asked if we were ready to order. My eldest sister was the first asked and she said she is not ready but will be, ask the others. The waitress walked awayinstead of taking orders. 12 minutes later she came back. Ok. My other sister asked for Steak Loredo. 30 or so minutes laterour meals came. The steak Laredo ended up arriving as a steak burrito (a sound alike). Once that got corrected, we all ate. My steak was pretty cold by that time and hard to cut with a butter knife. Not a steak knife in the place. The neglected servicecontinued. We were almost the last table in the place. All the other tables that arrived after us were served and had leftlong before us. The servers were not mean or rude, it was the lack of attention and long periods in between. Almost $200 forthe 4 of us. I was sorry I recommended Dos Amigos for a family dinner. Although two of us did enjoy our food. May 2021: I hadthe fajitas combo with shrimp, chicken and beef. It was ok, just fine for a neighborhood place. Price was OK, not overlyexpensive but El Paso in Springfield is a much better deal with same quality of food and drink. This restaurant is near Costcoand located near homes and makes a great place for the businesses and homes nearby. I will go back again which is the bestcompliment I could give a restaurant. Very busy and service was reasonable with the amount of take out orders and in restaurantgoing on during a busy Friday night. Check it out if you can. Read more

Dos Amigos delivers consistently on what East Coasters have come to expect from their Tex Mexican cuisine. This must be stated... because the Californian or person coming from the southwest may have a differing opinion. I have had the tacos al carbon andthe steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. I have purchased for pick up and had it delivered via Door Dash and have not beendisappointed. The steak and chicken are moist and tender as if you were eating in. The tortillas were fresh and the guac, sourcream, rice, beans, and salsa all tasted as if they were freshly made and packaged well in neat separate containers on aseparate platter as not to turn over...extra point for Dos Amigos on this consideration. I have had their delicious horchatabut still need to sample their desserts. But, I look forward to dining in. During last pick up visit, I saw customers enjoyingthemselves and the staff were hospitable and friendly ???? Read more

Gave this place a second chance.Even worse the second time around. Overpriced and extreme lack of service. Nacho app with... chicken (really 6 chips) =$12. Taquito app (only 2 cut in half) = $9. Are you serious? This place is nothing special. Definitelywon't be going back. Read more
