We normally go to the one located on Coburg rd but there have been a couple of times we decide at the last minute to stop at the... Gateway location and unfortunately it is always terrible. Last night first the guy working was irritated that I switched myorder the. the fries were cold, my chicken stars had been around awhile or were cooked for a second time. My husband's hamburgerwas literally thrown together and they completely disregarded his request. It is amazing at the difference between thelocations. Drive thru doesn't take long usually.the food is served warm and fast.its very predictable as far as flavors go but then again... it is lab built food.however about half way thru meal I have to stop eating the burger because I realize I have no clue as towhat I've eaten. The folks who take down my order are nice sometimes funny and always geeky.discount for veterans so mention itthey won't tell you or ask you..okay sized portions they could kick down more being that they make a ton of money off thepeople. Says they are open until 11 tonight, drove across town to go to Carl's Jr because it's our favorite, was informed through the... drive through they were closed @ 10:28? All the lights were on, I guess the employee wanted to get out early? When I worked thefood industry you served untill close, it always sucked when someone ordered last minute, but you still did it. I couldunderstand a couple of minutes till, but over a half hour before close? was a waste of gas, Im learning the bar is just lowereverywhere now a days . I guess when I want a burger late at night I'll have to settle for McDonald's, at least they areactually open when they say they are. Read more

This is an EXCEPTIONAL Carls! We showed up 5 minutes to closing, they told us there would be a limited menu & food would take a... few extra minutes to make. We were thankful they took our order at all! When we pulled up to the window, he notified us thatthey were making a fresh batch of fries for us, & offered a free soda for the wait. Most fast food restaurants do not treat youwith this level of kindness! The guy who took our order had glasses & the girl working with him was blonde. I didn?t catch theirnames but they are above and beyond employees that Carls Jr. should be proud to have working for them. Thank you ! Read more
