Reviews for Big Town Hero in Springfield, OR
This Sub shop receives 5 stars. Easy to find Location, Very Clean establishment, Friendly staff, Was a one man operation... during the time I went but he was very quick, took the orders and made the orders and was Friedly. I have been to other competitor locations that had more staff than one and had terrible staff and not friendly High Five to the Big Town HeroCrew Member "Good Service" Fantastic Sub!! I will be back Read more

Husband and I stopped in and had the most delightful experience. The order was taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long... before it was brought to our table and we both were pleasantly treated to sandwiches made how they are intended to be made. Youcould taste the savory meat and crunch of the lettuce and the juice of the tomato and it was the best I have had it sooo long.Everyone, and there were quite a few, were equally satisfied as we were. The only person taking orders, making sandwiches andcleaning tables was one guy, a young guy named Aaron. Very good manners and we had great admiration for his work effort. Youdon't see many Aaron's and we appreciate him and wish there were more just like him. Read more
I had a turkey panini, I don't remember what it was called, but it was cooked perfectly no charing just brown grill marks. It... did have little green peppers on it that I didn't expect, but I think that was me not paying attention. Also the service wasgreat, I got to nerd out with the guy behind the counter. I'll be coming back when I'm in the area. Read more
I remember big town hero, years ago in Anderson, California at the factory outlets, and I was so excited I found them. Then a... short time later, it left Anderson. Now I'm here in Eugene, Oregon, and found out there was one here!! The place was very clean, and the workers were very nice and welcoming. My friend and I were the only 2 customers. The bread was just as I remembered. Sosoft and fluffy. I deffinately would choose this sub place over most others. Read more
This afternoon at about 3:15 pm, I picked up a large Rueben sandwich on white bread to split with my wife at home. When I got... home and unwrapped the sandwich - it was disappointing. For the $9.40 (plus $2.00 tip - given when I ordered), total of $11.40,this sandwich lacked enough filling contents, specially in pastrami and sauerkraut. The young people staffing the restaurant atthe time seemed to be more engaged in their personal conversations than getting orders out in a timely manner, too. Back toJimmy John's next time. Please try to improve. Read more
Price: $ | Atmosphere: quiet | Accessibility: Excellent | Parking: free lot This particular location was staffed by one person... working the back making sandwiches and the front taking orders. I came in between lunch and dinner and ordered one item thatrequired no heating and waited 30 minutes to receive it. In the meantime 2 people walked out without ordering and there were twoparties waiting for their to go orders. The food is mediocre at best and you can get a sub sandwich from anywhere. The reasonmost people pick this type of food is because it?s supposed to be quick and easy. The only thing that was good is my order wascorrect. I had to ask how much longer it would be and I didn?t get anything like a ?thanks for waiting? or ?sorry it took solong?. I used up my entire lunch hour on this place and didn?t have time to eat. I will not ever be coming back. Read more
This was one of my favorite places when I lived in the area. I have been craving it for the last 3 years and when we flew in... from Texas we had to stop to get a sandwich. All the locations in Eugene have been shut down so we came to this location. Thecrew was great, the sandwich was exactly what I wanted and I left with my 3 year craving cured! Read more
