I ordered a chicken chimichanga with no peppers and he said it would be $2 extra because they would have to make me fresh... chicken as the chicken that goes in the chimichanga already has peppers in it. I ordered a cheese enchilada and when it wasbrought to me the cheese wasn't melted and it was cold. You can see in the picture that the cheese around the enchilada is notmelted and the enchilada sauce is clumped on instead of runny because it was room temperature. He offered to take it back andheat it up for me but I'm not the kind of person to send food back to the kitchen. I simply paid for my lunch and then left. Iwill not be returning because of portion size (yes the chimichanga is smaller than the taco) and quality. Read more

Pros: Food is good for Americanized Mexican food. Its not bad, just a different style than what I'm used to. The rice and beans... are on par to what Im used to. Food isn't too spicy. This place is good for newbies. Menu is extensive. Extremely nice staffwho greet you and check in on you. Drinks are great Cons: If you are from an area with authentic Mexican food (or eat Mexicanfood at home) it's not for you. If you like your tacos with onion and cilantro only , it's not for you. This should be the #1 Mexican restaurant in Springfield! We stopped by on a whim. The food is excellent! I would say it's... definitely well above what you expect from a restaurant with these prices. I had the shrimp/scallop plate and it was cooked toperfection! The shrimp queso my sister had was "the best I've ever had", according to her. The jumbo 40 ounce margarita is only$10.99 and there is no short of flavor or tequila! The staff was amazing and the decor is perfect! We will definitely be makingthis a regular stop. Read more
