Overall I had a good experience but nothing to write home about. The waitress didn't seem like she was mentally present, she may... have been tired. I was told the chicken Philly was great and I wasn't impressed but it didn't taste bad. Just didn't think itwas as great as they implied it was. I'll try grilled chicken next time instead of fried. The food was great! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. This restaurant had a lot of... good options on their menu. Knocking a star off because our waitress was not the best. She ignored us. Acted as if she didn?twant to do her job. Didn?t refill our drinks. Was hard to track down. She asked if we had any questions about the menu. I hadone. She answered and walked away, when we were ready to order. She had no reason to act that way. It was around 8pm, they closeat 11. Live this place. Great locally owned place. Our kids enjoy the games and the backroom is great if you have a group going to eat.... The menu is very diverse to suite all of the picky eaters. If you are a salad person the Cobb salad with grilled chicken isamazing. The chicken strips are huge and very good. If you are wanting to go and watch a game and have a great meal this is theplace. Tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings during a lunch break. Chicken was cooked to perfection and same for the... onion rings. Great atmosphere and food was brought out fairly quick. Our server was efficient with our orders, but not overlyfriendly. There were 3 other employees at the bar when we walked in and this was before the noon rush. None of them greetedus. I have had good food at the Roost Bar & Grill. They have a decent atmosphere for watching sports. Today we were watching the Kc... Chiefs, go Chiefs. I had the Nachos today. They weren't good as the chips were so salty. ???? I don't know how to describe howsalty they were. I ordered a soda to try to cut the salt taste, which helped. But I couldn't finish them. Maybe I got the bottomof the barrel but the table next to us had the nachos as well and they didn't eat very much of theirs either. My wife had thechicken strips with Roost fries which were actually large potato wedges and fried green beans. She liked the green beans and thechicken was fine. My family and I have ate here several times now and not once have we been disappointed. Their Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich is... huge and very good. My favorite is their Jalapeño Burger. My kids love the games and we enjoy all the sports playing on theirtv's, so everyone is happy. Read more
