Always take my granddaughters out for breakfast. They always want to go to Steak 'n Shake.
This restaurant has dimmed a bit ; what was a great burger is now only fair , the seasoning is blander and the condiments... overpower the meat's flavor , I was a fan but today was a disappointment. The service was good , the restaurant was clean , theprice was fair but I miss the great burgers. Maybe it's the drive through that makes the food more like an upscale McDonald's, perhaps the focus has shifted from quality to quantity, maybe the chef has a cold ,who knows . Came home to our burgers, fries, and a skimpy cup of $3 chili literally all smashed into one overly greasy, small bag. Called... and asked super tactfully and politely to see if we could get our order remade and was immediately put off by the guy'sattitude. Ya, I'm not getting my food spit into tonight... Open 24 hours the sign says. Nah Restaurant closes at 10. Use the drive through they say wether you can or not. It?s just... another example of laziness and businesses using Covid as a way to excuse poor service. Read more
