The food was great many flavors of sauces to dress delicious cuts of meat the brisket, ribs and pulled pork were absolutely to... die for. The smoked cheesy corn was rich in flavor. I'd heard good things, but am a skeptical KC girl about finding great bbq in Springfield. I've tried a lot, not all. Mostly I've... become jaded. Not today. Went just after 11:30am on Saturday, and already there was a line almost to the door. After saying itwas our first time visiting, we had a sample of both their pork belly and beef burnt ends. I changed my mind about my orderthen. It was going to need to include some of these beef burnt ends. While both were good, these were amongst the best beefburnt ends I've had in years. This is a bit shocking, but that statement includes trips home to KC. Also sampled the smoked Macn cheese, smoked beans and pulled pork. I could just eat those beans as a meal. They've got a bit of heat, I think I saw ajalapeño piece, and good size chunks of meat. Love them. The Mac was good, it's got a good smoky taste, but isn't too much assometimes happens. The pulled pork was good, but I think it suffered being next to the burnt ends, and I just wanted more burntends. There was more burnt ends than in the picture, but I ate some on the drive home, oops. Sauces are sweet, and even the hotis sweet with the heat on the back end of it. I'd choose the hot if eating there, and skip in favor of sauce at home if gettingto go. I can't say enough good things. I'm so happy to find the elusive great bbq place of Springfield. Wish I'd visitedsooner. PS. I'm told the smoked cheesy corn was tasty by my partner. I didn't eat any, because cheesy corn isn't my thing andhonestly, it was inhaled by him even if I did want a spoonful. Read more

Absolutely the BEST BURNT ENDS in Springfield!!! Smoked fresh daily and seasoned to perfection, you have to give them a try. I... also had the pulled pork and it was DELICIOUS, just the right amount of fat, and a tangy, sweet flavor. The staff was veryfriendly and everyone greets you with a smile, you gotta love that. The restaurant is in a great location with plenty ofparking, lots of sunlight inside, and a great atmosphere. Glad I had a chance to stop in. Read more

Go ahead Bob!! Came in from Louisiana for the weekend. I read a ton of reviews across the area but this place got a spot in my... schedule. BURT ENDS are my love language ????. This place didn?t disappoint. I wanted to try the corn but it was sold out formy late lunch. Don?t make fun of my plate lol. The husband and I ate it twice ????. So good! This is not a chain restaurant. This is a wonderful, local place that smokes their meat daily! The meat fell apart in... my mouth, the sauces and sides are all homemade! Absolutely loved this place and will be back! Read more

Flat out, easily, best barbecue'd meat of all time personally, had 2 meat sampler with pulled pork(9/10) and burnt ends(12/10),... single bone of ribs (8/10), and the mac cheese which was mid was ???? when mixed in with pulled pork and signature sauces. Read more

Overall one of the better bbq experiences for us. Service is very friendly and fast, the dining area and restrooms are clean,... and the food is good. We shared the three meat platter for $15 w/o sides, which start at $2 for a good size portion; for $3 youget a side and a drink. Both burnt ends (brisket and pork belly) are good, but next time we might just have the spicy sausage,which is $4/link and very good. The cheesy smoked corn is a unique and delicious side, and be sure to save room for the smokedblueberry cheesecake...it's not that smoky and it's quite good. Read more
