Retro Metro is my family?s favorite upscale restaurant. The food, the atmosphere and the people are all amazing! Kari, aka... Grandma, has been serving my family for 15+ years. It?s like coming home when I walk in and see Kari. She knows exactly what wewant to eat and drink! Brandon aka Tiny, and Hana are simply amazing. My family and I love supporting a locally owned businessespecially when the owners are friends! Read more

Fantastic experience. Came here on a last minute whim. Food was good. service was good. Owner was jovial and pleasant to see... mingling with his patrons. My favorite part? The fact that even though I looked homeless (on purpose) they treated me like anyother person there. When you wear a suit everyday, it's nice to "let your hair down" ???? and be comfortable. Nice to know theowner is training his staff to not judge a book by its cover. Very well done, all around the house. Thank you. Read more

Absolutely glorious food, as come to be expected from Metropolitan Grill! We found this location to be even more delicious than... the original location. Their steaks were cooked to perfection, and they were absolutely the most tender steaks we had ever had.Everything, including the service was fantastic. Read more

11/10 hands down, no question! I called earlier in the week to make reservations for my husband & I for Friday night. I... explained to the person answering the phone that we were heading out for a much-needed, way overdue date night & celebrate the15-year anniversary of our first date early. Imagine my surprise when I found out the person I was speaking to was none otherthan the chef of this fine establishment, Chef Brandon aka Chef Tiny! Not too many places where the Chef answers the phonehimself! We immediately began discussing some potential menu options & Chef was even gracious enough to work on some specialentrees for our night out. We communicated back & forth about entree options & Chef was extremely helpful & considerate ofcertain dislikes or food allergies. I was diagnosed with Alpha Gal Syndrome several months ago & because of that, I'm unable toconsume mammalian meats like beef, pork, rabbit, venison, etc - basically, if it doesn't come out of an egg, I can't eat it???? We arrived at the restaurant to be greeted by a friendly hostess & were taken care of by an amazing server named Carrie. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu & super accommodating about my food allergies. We met Chef Tiny in person & werevery excited about the tasty dinner to come! We started with an appetizer special of mussels in a heavenly, rich garlic buttersauce which came with grilled foccaccia bread. If I was brought a whole loaf of bread, I would've made an absolute fool ofmyself making sure I got every last taste of that sauce in my belly! The mussels were tender & not overcooked like a lot ofother places & the sauce it was needed to be bottled & sold everywhere. Chef worked up a 20oz ribeye with something he calledJohnny sauce - a way back Metro recipe - gouda mashed potatoes & asparagus. Even though I couldn't try the ribeye, it lookedabsolutely delicious. The ribeye was unbelievably tender, cooked to perfection! I had a lobster thermidor with mushroom risot Read more

Thought we would try this out for a Friday First and cover valentines while we were at. The place is easy to find and seemed to... have plenty of parking. The décor was modern and comfortable. We had reservations at 7 but showed up early and took a seat atthe bar. Overall a really nice place just a little loud and not sure how you would ever fix that. I had amaretto sour and shewhatever wine she drinks. We started with the Gaska and Yoakam. The Gaska was amazing, it is so full of flavors it is one ofall time favorite starters. The Yoakam was completely out of this world tender and full of flavor with the balsamic reduction. I would recommend both to anyone. For my main course I had the 10 oz Molina. This is a 10oz beef tenderloin topped with abearnaise crab cake set on bed of smoked salmon, prosciutto rigatoni bed. This was one of the best steaks I have had in a longtime. Tender and so full of flavor. My one negative is I think they seared it with a torch and there was a slight hint of burninstead of char. My wife had the Wampler pasta. I tasted it and it was also delicious and she loved it. This was a greatexperience for us and we will definitely return round 2. Read more

You might look at the prices and raise a brow but then you will go and see why. You just can't get food like this elsewhere.... There is something unique about it. Will be back and I'm thankful for such creative recipes. Delicious sea bass! Read more
