When we ordered I specifically asked if bread came with the meals. Counter person said yes. Food was brought out when ready and... I asked which bag bread sticks were in and was told that there was no bread that it had burned. I said so basically I paid forsomething I'm not going to get and the girl that brought out the food just stared at me and said nothing. I was not offered arefund for the bread portion of the order nor offered free bread for my next visit. The pasta was tasty but definitely missing afull meal with no bread sticks. I'm not sure if I will return or not to be honest, if for no other reason than the girl notseeming to care about making it right with the customer. Read more
This place has been a fixture of Springfield's food scene for so long; I was glad to see that it's still there after so many... other businesses disappeared over the years. And now it's even part of a nifty little gastronomical hub that grew up around it.The house casserole is still uh-mazing, and the price is still affordable. You really should stop in and try it. (Note: anotherthing that didn't change in the 20+ years since I stopped in?its tiny historic building does not offer a dine-in option.) Read more
Ott?s is easily by far the best Pasta Place in Springfield. I order the variety tortellini and the salad and breadsticks are... just the best thing! Very reasonably priced food and excellent quality of food for the price too! I would recommend thisestablishment to anybody looking to try something new! You?ll be coming back that?s for sure! They have been in business for avery long time and they have perfected their recipes! Even one business in town purchases their salad dressing from them! NowTHAT makes a statement! I'm not sure what changed the red sauce, where's they get how they make it?!? First time I've ever been disappointed and... honestly it was so distasteful that I probably won't return. The breadsticks were just thrown in the bag not wrapped in a napkinor anything. The house casserole was less than desirable and the salad was just mediocre. This used to be one of my favoriteplaces but I think my house casserole is much better now! Read more
Omg! First time getting food here. The prices are so great and the food is phenomenal! I definitely recommend the toasted... ravioli and the fettuccine Alfredo! Also, the girls working tonight were very sweet. Will be a lifelong customer for sure ?? Read more
We had Ott?s cater our daughter?s wedding 6/4/22. The venue was an hour away. They reassured me keeping everything plenty hot... would not be an issued. Henry quietly showed up got everything set out, and made sure there was plenty as people came through.He was very polite and courteous - Professional! The food was hot, so yummy, and we had tons of compliments. When everyone wasfinished Henry covered everything up for us and again quietly packed up and left. This place is a staple of the community. The fast, reliable service mixed with how little they charge is a go to experience! I... get food from here at least once a week. I would definitely recommend the House Casserole and the Variety Tortellini with whitesauce. The lasagna is also one of my favorites! Read more
LONG-TIME CUSTOMERS, BEWARE. The Ott's that you remember is no more. I've been getting food from Ott's since the early 90's, but... my most recent trip there will likely be my last. The quality of the food, what little I received of it, was fine. However, theportion sizes are severely reduced. They had already reduced the size in the last few years, changing from a rectangle-shapedcontainer to a square one. Now they've done it again, changing to a round one, and the portion of entree I received waspitiful. That was bad enough, but the salad was even worse--it used to be packed into the containers, but now you only receivea small handful of lettuce. And then there were the bread sticks--wait, no there weren't! I received exactly 0 bread sticks formy $7.50. Ott's Pasta: Small portions, no bread sticks, but plenty of disappointment. Read more
