I really love this place and have much respect for the owners, but man, some of the young staff are so shockingly rude that it... can just ruin your whole evening. Very depressing and no joke, it?s hurtful to be treated so badly. What is wrong with theirmanners?? Why? Owners, please hire nicer kids to work there. It?s not just me who has encountered this here. It?s like 50/50.Half the time, the employees are sweet, yet it?s just that other half, so shockingly rude. I avoid going there now because Idon?t like to be abused. Read more

Amazing food! The Smoked White Bean soup is so delicious. The ham is smoked in Pecan wood. It is the best bean soup I have ever... had. The salad was terrific too. Definitely comfort foods! Read more

First time at CPP and was blown away! The roast beef sandwich was delicious. (Wish I had another one right now.) Service was... terrific too. Best part is the quirky venue, with window-facing bar seating inside and picnic tables outside. Great place forpeople-watching, plus I got to pet a friendly dog, which made my day! Love this quaint little place hidden in the heart of Springfield. They have a large variety of drinks from coffee, to beer, to... wine, to bottled cocktails. We enjoying being able to bring our fur babies out on the patio as well. The food is also delicious!I did find it weird that they make you pay a corking fee on a bottle of wine you purchase from them and enjoy on their patio.Seems a little backwards, but none the less a great location. I always enjoy my visit here. They have a wonderful staff. The ladies really take good care of you. They make wonderful fresh... homemade for here. I always come in for my espresso, cappuccino, or Americano. They have a great wall of different wines andliquors from foreign to domestic. They have sodas without corn syrup. I have had their twist on a tomato basil soup. It unfoldedwith flavor on the palate. You will have to come in and try all their delicious food. Excellent place to grab a comfort food-filled lunch. I was extremely impressed with their twist on tomato soup. They add orange,... herbs and cream that makes this one stand out among the rest. The classic grilled cheese (with local bacon) was also delightful.Every other bite included a strong herb I couldn't quite put my finger one. Highly recommend this unique place with a variety ofgrub.
