Vele is very clean, the staff was polite and accommodating. The manager/owner was very pleasant and greeted me before leaving.... The chef made me an off the menu dish because I am vegan. The food was delicious. Read more
Came here for my birthday dinner. The filet minon was on point, very tender and flavorful. The spicy seafood spaghetti was... delicious as well! Parking space was plentiful as it was in a plaza. Hostess and waiter was very nice! Read more
Superb menu options with very friendly staff and excellent service. I was very impressed here. The bar selection and service was... great, and the food something to come back for. I love when I am inspired to give a detailed review. Food and Drinks: 5/5: We had the grilled Caesar salad and the raw oysters... for appetizers. Both were excellent. The oysters were fresh. I liked both the size (perfect for sharing) and the spin on theCaesar salad. It was grilled and the applewood smoked bacon complimented it perfectly. The dressing wasn’t too tangy at all.The ancho cherry margarita and summer passion cocktails were good (4/5). The lamb chops… perfection. They were tender, theDemi glaze was complimentary and the cauliflower purée was the icing. I took my seabass meal to go and that was also amazing. We both enjoyed the house Cabernet with the main course (5/5). Ambience: 5/5: It has been a pleasure to be see the restaurantgrow. The location is spacious and well designed. It speaks for itself. Customer service: 5/5The hostess squeezed us is lastnight with no hesitation and decided she would figure the rest out and we appreciated that. Our waitress was also extremelyattentive. I have always had excellent customer service here and last night was me exception. The 5/5 rating is earned for theconsistency alone. The last time we dined with them was right after they first opened and were downtown. We ate there earlier this week for dinner... and I was very surprised at how good their rib eye steak was. This is the best steak I've had in Springfield in years. Theshrimp was pretty good, the bread great, and the twice baked just acceptable. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. I willdefinitely go back.
