I have eaten a Cobb salad in the restaurant which was very good. So I ordered a Cobb salad to go. Unfortunately the aesthetic... aspect of the salad was completely lost in the carry-out version. We have been here before and have always pleased. We had a great experience this time also. Good food and Courtney our server... did a great job. He was very attentive making sure our drinks were full and our food was to our liking. Hard to believe it washis first night and he got our party of 9. Went for lunch while shopping nearby. Not very busy, lots of open tables. Had ordered a couple of meals and they brought out... one incorrect meal. We mentioned it and our server insisted on replacing it with something else. As any good service would do.Huge portions of food. Not good today. Upon seating, the waitresses walked by and said to the other waitress "Can you believe it's only us today?" ... Attempted to order saganaki and was told "We can't do that today." Waitress forgot to bring out my wife's soup. Then shebrought the wrong one. Also forgot to bring out napkins when asked. Grilled cheese was not melted. Fries were stuck together(See photos). We observed other tables waiting for several minutes. We enjoyed eating at this restaurant a few weeks ago, butafter this experience will not return. Read more
I would give this place a thousand stars if I could!! First of all, our server Kristy, was awesome!! She was so nice and... accommodating. Truly made the experience so much better! But the food!! I had a blast at breakfast the other day and I had to share the great food and service we had at this restaurant. I was... visiting in town and had a craving for gluten free pancakes, based on earlier reviews we decided to give them a try. I am SOglad we did!! The walls were hand painted very well and the décor was very inviting. The menu was extensive with a niceselection of items to choose from. Our waitress was friendly and helped us decide what to order. The booth we were sitting inwas clean and my friend said the coffee tasted fresh. Our food didn't take long to arrive and it was cooked perfect asordered. The size of the pancakes were very generous and tasted amazing. Everything tasted fresh and I had plenty to take homefor meal #2. My friend said my gluten free pancakes tasted better than the regular pancakes, which is hard to accomplishbecause usually GF food doesn't taste as good as the "normal thing" They didn't rush us out and it was nice that they explainedon the bill the difference between the cash and credit card total. Next time we plan on also grabbing a loaf of banana breadfrom the great big display case they have at the front. This is a must stop! Read more
WOW! Pancakes are huge and still very light and fluffy. Breakfast menu is four pages long -something for everyone. I had the... Irish skillet with corned beef hash, hash browns and co-jack cheese. My over medium eggs were absolutely perfect. Sign at thedoor asked for patience since they are short staffed. We didn't notice any problems but we were a bit later than the breakfastrush. Went here for dinner tonight and it was by far the worst. We ordered the sweet tea and it was sour, decided to get lemonade... instead and was brought out in a dirty cup. Ordered the cheese sticks and they was meh. We ordered the meatloaf Sunday and thechopped steak. The chicken soup was brought out and it was barely warm, came with a dirty spoon, the chicken in it was tough andthe noodles were mushy. The side salad was the saddest side salad ever. Received our order and the meatloaf was cold, and verybland. The ?famous? chopped steak needs to loose the ?famous? part on the menu because that was the worst ever, besides beingcompletely bland, I order it well done, when I cut into it it was pink meat with grayish meat in the middle (I wouldn?t evenfeed that to my dog).
