Smells like smoke in hallway (which I don't mind, room was clean), loud hallway, uncomfortable bed. However, a lot of people... complain that the ac doesn't work- it does it's just confusing. Tried to check in at 230 was told no manager guaranteed we would have our room when we checked in after midnight. Well yes they... had a room but not the one we paid for. Was discussing. Dirty. We reserved a king bed nope it was a full. Air-conditioning didnot work. Finally got a different room the next day. No apologies nothing. Will not go back. Worst hotel rooms I have ever walked in. See below someone complained about nasty rooms and stains on the sheets. They are NOT... taking the necessary steps to fix the issues both rooms we got yesterday were disgusting. A ?non smoking room? reeked of smokeand looks like they tried to fix that problem with a car air freshener hanging by the air conditioner. Cigarette burn holes inthe blankets. Walked into the second room and there is stains all over the pillows and hair so obviously linens are not beingwashed. 1 star is even too much for this hotel. Absolutely gross. Read more

Always clean rooms and the executive jacuzzi suites are SWEET!!!! Very nicely priced considering the other nasty hotel in town... that has jacuzzi suites wants 200 for there single room whirlpool suites. Couldn't get a packet of salt upon request though andnot a huge fan of southern view but all in all well stay there again anytime we need a quick getaway from home for the night. Read more

This place was unique!! The rooms are not like anything I've ever seen!! It was clean, quiet, and the staff were super helpful... when there was a problem with the cable in the room!! Rooms were a joke very poor cleanliness mold right in the walls under the permanent fixtures. Pool was too deep for kids to swim... in starts out at 5 ft and ends in 9ft. Homeless people outside at back door doing haircuts for money. Noise from other doors andother rooms until 4 am. Can hear dogs barking and the front desk was very rude while checking in. Checking out was okay though.Save your money and go somewhere else. Read more

I would start off by saying you get what you pay for. We were travelling route 66 and need a place for the night and it was... cheap. The hotel is under renovations, but the room we were given shouldn't have been rented out. Both beds had sheets withstains on them. One had multiple burn holes. One of the neds comforters had mystery brown stains. The iron holder was missingan iron and the ironing board had blood stains on it (wish I was joking). The room renovation was not completed yet. Whatreally got us, was that the shower was missing the valve to turn on the shower. When we called the front desk they said theirwas nothing they could do. After a bit of pressing they allowed us to use the hot tub room to shower. This room was muchnicer...wish they would have allowed us to rent this one instead, but they refused. On a positive, cool pool and lots of Route66/car related items on the lobby. Read more

Oh boy where do I start. We had a 2 bed room reserved for Fri & Sat, I called 4 days in advance to confirm it. We go to check in... and they tell us we only have 1 bed. I said there is 2 couples. Manager says well we only have a 1 bed. He says we can stillgive you it for the same price. I said we came here with the intent to pay half of the room rate for the 2 notes which was$78.00 per couple total. He says ok then finds us rooms (1 bed each). So we had to have separate rooms. Then he proceeds to takeme to a jacuzzi room. Nice but we had big parties all weekend, we were never in our room and our weekend with our friends wereruined. So NO a jacuzzi room doesn't make up for it. We go to check out and we were charged full price $158.00. WTH Thank youfor ruining our weekend. Read more
