came in here after getting a recommendation from a friend. took about 20 minutes to be seated and longer to get my food, even... though the breakfast rush was ending and plenty of tables were open and clean. my server was pretty nice but seemed to have anattitude when i asked for creamer for my coffee. the rest of the servers save for one seemed relatively unsatisfied workingthere and spent more time sighing and being audibly upset than serving. as for the food, i probably could?ve cooked it better athome and wish i wouldn?t have spent the money. the prices are decent but you wouldn?t be missing out on anything if you went toihop instead. i work in the food service myself and have seen much better. if you?re new to springfield, go to charlie parker?sor sunrise cafe. don?t waste your money here. It was ok. My first time there and there was only one waiter for the whole place. This was at 12:15 pm. I guess they close up... early because we had to have the door unlocked to leave at 1:20pm. I probably won't return. Read more

Just tried this place for the first time. Busy atmosphere with one waitress that was trying to keep up but wasn't able to. We... all 4 had breakfast. They use a dinner type Italian sausage for their breakfast sausage. Biscuits and gravy were also made withItalian sausage. Food definitely left a bad taste. It was like eating pizza sausage. This has quickly become one of our favorite breakfast spots. The food is very good and the portions are large for the price. And... the meats are always first rate, not surprising given their association with a butcher shop. For a little added zing, try theirhomemade hot sauce, very tasty and zesty. Read more
